I always had few questions in mind regarding using gurbani jaap against ghosts.

From what i have heard from mahapursh sangat there are more number of ghosts living on this earth then people ... What is visible to a human eye is 1/3 of things around us.

Ghost is a juni like humans animals stones etc ... So why are they seen as bad things ?

Ghost is already living in the house and you are moving in there why not God back him up as he is already living there ?

How is Ghost hurting people with door banging etc ... its our fear which is hurting us so why blame the ghost ?

I have yet to see a physically hurt person by a ghost such as ghost giving him punches or cuts or trying to eat him up ... if anyone has such experience or story then please share ?

These are my few questions which came in my mind any time i see ghost stories on tv or anywhere ...

Gurbani is not to harm others and it will never do that for you. Instead it is for sarbat da bhalla ...

Instead do path for the mukti of the ghost. Never do ardas save me from this ghost but do ardas to guru ji to help this ghost getting human life and he will be your friend.

Your path will make u spiritually strong and fearless you will start understanding things with the logic of god and not human mind. Dont think it will create any sort of invisible fire around you that no ghost can come near you.

And the most important thing Dont do anything which could make you a ghost for the ghost.

Hai i need help my brother averyday come back from work. He will beat his wife and children or break house thing.

Play shabads, and ask them to go towards the light and detach and move forward on their journey instead of being stuck on and digging themselves into deeper and deeper pain.

Do aras that they leave and believe it.

So where i live they have auction on haunted house and they go away cheap after a person goes inside and checks it. I have won it and i went to take a look at the house and well i saw much paranormal activity and the house seems to get barely any sunlight. so i was thinking since gurbani has so much power it can be a profit for me. i can get the house and do some gurbani with family. SO i was wandering what are some type of gurbani and paaths i can do? Yes i will be doing akhand path but just to be safe. i want to do more. SO any suggestions?

I have heard a unique occurance in Italy. One Singh named Paramjit Singh purchased a house in cheap rates as it was haunted. He was fearless. He thought he would expell the ghost with kirtan and bani.He started performing kirtan and path daily with sangat but the paranormal activities didn't stop.He increased kirtan and at last started sehaj path. He was surprised to see rumala sahib being folded automatically. He was disturbed why ghost didn't leave. One day he met a taksaali Singh, he advised him to bring Lariwaar Sarup of Guru Granth Sahib ji(which is daily enshrined at Harimandar Sahib) He at once managed to bring the same sarup of SGGS ji,as soon as Sarup entered the house at threshold, all paranormal activities stopped. He was very happy. He did akhand path and kirtan. The ghost had left already. He was impressed so much that he has started doing sewa of SGGS JI with more devotion. He takes the sarup to kirtan darbaar,it becomes successful. Once a gurdwara committee was under heavy debt, he brought the sarup, kirtan was done, so much maya was collected that many installments of bank was paid. SGPC has ordered to enshrine Lariwaar Sarup at historic gurdwara but no one bothers, miracles take place where this sarup is enshrined. A hindu Gujrati doctor suffering from bone cancer got cured while listening path from Lariwaar Sarup at Akaal Takht Sahib. Sikhs have left Guru, but Guru hasn't.

Khuda kher kare!

Ameen!

he he, just let you guys know that the op was so engrossed in making profit on the house, his priority was not on waheguru or bani. He ended up getting possessed and we don't know if he's alive or not.

Lesson is that you have to focus and have the truthful intentions as well as join in with sangat when doing akhand path. The op arranged the akhand path with family and then went off to do other things while guru was present.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
