Found this on youtube- very interesting speech by sant ji on the viewing of illicit media material that is prevalent in todays soicety. definitely an eye-opener.

I just look at my own life time.. from 4 channels growing up to the 100's of channels of mostly filth now exposed to our children, you cannot even watch the news with the family without a dodgy advert coming on.

some Dramas and cartoons in the past carried some kind of moral message, or instilled family code of conduct. Now there's nothing of the sort.

There has been a lot of research released recently on the sexualisation of society, especially the affects on children.

Teen pregnancies, broken families, interfaith marriages are all at all time high, and it's only going to get worse.

We are all a product of our environment and what we intake.

Young parents must protect children from Tv and internet, these things need to be openly discussed in Gurdwaras and camps.

It is amazing when we look at Sant ji's bachan's, in such a short time they clarified so many issues, Panthic issues, equality issues, social issues. Things they said 30 years ago are 100% relevant today.

Forever in our hearts...Sri Maan Sant Giani Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale.

Well said. Sant Ji was the perfect role model, in every aspect - Gristhi life, Sant life and Sipahi life.

To DataSingh - I can imagine Sant Ji would have told you to man up and read certain Banis. I can't go into the in-depth bachans of what Gyani Thakur Singh Ji said about Sant Ji on this issue, but basically, Singhs back in the day had issues where they weren't able to lead a Gristhi life despite being married. On Sant Ji's bachans, they did Jaap of Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Ji - Chritiropakhiyaan, and Waheguru Ji did Kirpaa, and those Singhs led normal family lives.
