What I meant was khalsa (pure) means to live life according to waheguru's hukam, who lives and sees the truth 24/7, battles the 5 thieves night and day and who has merged with the naam. To get khalistan we must strive for the qualities outlined by our father Guru Gobind Singh Ji maharaj first. I actually do want Khalistan because I know what the sikhs in India are going through right now; the government is killing the youth and getting them addicted to drugs etc. However right now we can't even help the homeless people sleeping on the street at southall. Didn't bhai Fauja singh say that if every sikh even attempts to do simran for 5 mins, waheguru would give khalistan to us by tomorrow?

Imagine handing more power to badal to go from local governing power to central governing power. We have more corrupt people like badal who will take control. How can we trust in our people that much when we can't trust singhs on small things, we can't trust money or possessions these days. With the small size of punjab we would end up investing the whole population into an army to fight pakistan and india who have nuclear-atomic weapons.

Plus with farmers commiting suicide it will end up increasing even more, we will make more enemyship with india who will refuse to do trade with us, other countries will rip us off (it takes a new country approx 200years to grow india+pakistan is about 60 they haven't peaked yet). Our economy will be dead, we will be in war, our social systems would collapse, our high levels of illiteracy will increase, drug+alcohol intake will increase.

So from that it is not the best time to resolve internal sikh and local goverment politics by a small partition and civil war. We struggle to run a small gurdwara without a fight or hassle. If we live up to sikhi what will stop sikhs from ruling over larger terrain such as india and further, being better rulers then anyone else has seen supporting growth in all sectors such as academic (not many upna read books), medical, institutional etc. Nations are born by it's scholars, it is hard to create a nation but even harder to keep a nation alive and run it in accordance, to look after your people (when we can't even do that today). so every sikh getting a degree will automatically sort out our problems?..ive met some singhs who have degress and dont know the first thing about politics and the opression the sikhs are facing...what makes you think all educated sikhs care about the troubles the kaum is facing?...dont they usually get high paying jobs...move into a well off areas..live a very comfortable lives and try to avoid anything that affects that...i agree we need more educated singhs and kaurs...but what we need is more zeal for sikhi...the willingness to do everything and anything for sikhi...

your talking such nonsense i dont realy know where to start. U imply khalistan will be the current small panjab? ERM no u bandhar it will be panjab/haryana/himachal/parts of rajastan. U say india wont trade with us? erm who cares to be honest, remember its the north of india which feeds the rest of india, if the north then becomes khalistan, then they will be begging us to trade with them.
