Having had suicidal thoughts for years, this has personally come true for me. Attune yourself to His name, this path is about faith and embracing Nothing over everything. Many have doubts in the Guru(Gurbani) but a sikh should take its words as law 100% no matter what others say, no matter what society says.

They watch us 24/7 seeing if we pass the tests that He puts us through(whether he comes to you as your nagging screaming mother, violent brother, bitchy sister or jealous friend), if we slap away doubt and continue full speed ahead with complete 100% faith and surrender. Those who live in and accept Hukam gracefully, who recognise Him to be everywhere and everyone and who respect the Truth and attune themselves to it through naam(which is God's all pervading balanced frequency of Nothingness), excel.

omg do NOT for any reason attempt suicide. It is the worst possible act you can do because your soul gets badly punished. Its not only Sikhism that believes in this, but other major religions too. If you want to be a good person and you have evil thoughts that cross your mind, this is Culyug pursuing you to go on his path. Culyug is the stage of life we are living in currently - the most evil where in despicable acts are committed such as insect, homosexuailty etc. Don't let Culyug win, you must fight against it by doing paath. Culyug once admitted that he tries very much to get Sikhs on his path but they somehow always seem to resist. You must be the Sikh that resists!!!!!!!!
