Hello everyone,

I'm a high school student in Canada and I really want to do something about the issues in Punjab.

Whether it's the farmer suicides, female feticides, drug problems... ANYTHING.

What can I do? Is there a way to sponsor a family in Punjab? Or any reliable liaisons where I can donate money?

I want to start an organization with other youth in my area because I know they would be interested in doing something like this as well.

Do you know of any way that I can make A DIFFERENCE?

H Kaur there are two ways to tackle such problems.

1. To donate keeping in mind Short term benefit.

2. To donate keeping in mind Long term benefit.

If you choose the first option then it's advisable to directly help the person in need of financial help.

If you choose the second option then it's advisable to help Institutions imparting Gurmat (Satguru's Wisdom) and providing Food, Clothing, Shelter and Medical Treatment to the needy.

I think Guriqbal Singh ji also have Mata Kaula ji trust where they are helping Widows , old ladies with food clothing and shelter. We can donate money in their account as well. we can talk directly to them as well. They tell that if we donate Rs 500 it gives food for 1 month for one old lady
