** Boycott Prof Sarbjit Dhunda - Sri Akaal Takht Sahib Aadesh**

Recommended Posts

In a democratic way, I want to ask just 1 question to Mr. Dhundha - Which Raagi have done Ucharan of which Rachna (Baani) which according to him "Veshvaavan nun vi maat paaundi hai". Does he has a record of what has been ucharan? Which raagi did ucharan of that? I hear Gurbaani from Darbaar Sahib Amritsar, approx. 3-4 hours a day, I would like to hear his response, as I always hear Nirol Keertan from Amritsar Sahib, no Kachchi Baani at all. Dasam Granth as well - most of the recited baani is from Akal Ustaat, some shabad's from Swayee Sahib. Even if he is from the gang not endorsing to Dasam Granth, can he still provide response as to which Baani/Pankti he is referring to??? Quite insulting ...

OR is that - he got carried away because he got little publicity which has given him sufficient HAUME (Arrogance) to speak anything derogatory against anybody.

Whole of dasam Granth bani is included in sikh rehat maryada for kirtan from harmandir sahib. Ragis do sing bani from Chandi charitra, beautiful shabads from krishna avtar, shashtra Naam mala, bachitra natak. What does dhundhu know about bani of dasam pita? Nothing at all.Had he read this bani he would have been brave to take a stand and not be lying desperatley to save his skin.

Here is the original video where Sarbjit Dhunda insults Sri Darbar Sahib. Forward the video to 17:00 minutes to listen to the beginning of the episode. But forward to 18:40 minutes where Sarbjit dhu

Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBPasbluoD8 Attachment

This is the only excuse people back home trot out to defend themselves when they are caught doing bad things. Its always "It was Photoshopped, it was morphed, it was edited", etc. You'd think with so

These Khalistanis uncles in the west are a disgrace. They have betrayed the cause of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwalay and the thousands of Shaheeds.

dashmesh darbar Gurudwara was found when ROSS street Gurudwara refused to obey Hukamnama of akal takhat for removal of chairs from langar hall. Those who formed dashmesh darbar approached akal takhat and got managers of ROSS street excommunicated for disobeying akal takhat.

And now they have sold their religion for bread and butter. Shame on such khalistanis.

Agreed, and that's the reason, question is back to Mr. Dhundha to justify his statements. The question is - "What he really commented on - who sang that, when, and what"???

Sarna gave Delhi Gurdwara stage to Prof Darshan Lal - He spew venom against Dasam Patshah and his banee and got excommunicated

Sarna gave Delhi Gurdwara stage to Dhunda - He spew venom against Jaap Sahib, Dasam Patshah banee, Sikh traditions - He is now summoned at Akal Takhat

Sarna continues to invite Dhunda's missionary cohorts to Delhi and gives them Delhi Gurdwara stage. One of them is Sabhra who is openly seen accompanying Prof Darshan Lal and hence defying Akal Takhat Hukamnama

Sarna has appointed Tarsem Singh as the Chairman of his Dharam Prachar Committee. He has repeatedly defied Akal Takhat Hukamnama by hosting Prof Darshan Lal in Delhi on many occasions. Last year Tarsem even went to Chandigarh on the invitation of Joginder Spokesman and gave a lecture in his honor.

Find the odd man out!

These people are shameless.I watched tarsem singh on zee tv programme. he is a sworn enemy of Dasam bani. But in the programme he was quoting from Bachitra natak about martyrdom of Guru Teg bahadar ji.

Sarna is a congress tout and he is doing it at someone's behest. Likes of Dashmesh darbar gurudwara are sarna's buddies. So there is a link between Dhundha's sponsors and sarna.

Who owns OMNI Tv based in Vancouver?

They aired interview of Dhunda - Biased because of one point of view presented.

It wasnt just OMNI tv that was showing support towards Dhunda, I saw multiple TV shows on Vision TV showing interviews with Dhunda ('Gurbani TV' , 'Taur Panjab Di"), and I even saw one show which was against the adesh from Sri Akal Takht Sahib ("Mulaqat")

Seriously...quit the constant crying and whining. Thats all people do these days. If you don't like his views, then don't listen to him. Thats what i did when he came to my hometown...i stayed home. I didn't sit there and start complaining like a baby. Do you ever see taksalis protesting and complaining at akj programs? Or AKJs protesting Nihang singh programs? These groups have some pretty big difference on some issues. But they have a mutual respect for each other and allow them to do their own thing. I'm seriously getting sick and tired of this gong show we are puting on. its not gonna get us anywhere. Another thing: i dont think that the video flying around the internet of dhundha speaking against Sri Jaap Sahib is even him. I have heard that some surrey sangat approached him and he says that the video is not him speaking, and that he does Jaap Sahib daily.

I do not agree with the people he associates with, but then again, we have different jathas hanging out with other jathas and nobody says anything about that. Why the double standards? When some Singh in a chola/dumalla gets accused of something bad, we just ignore or say "its probably not true" and leave it at that. But when someone else is accused of something, we jump all over them, not even asking for clarification.

In conclusion...I'm gonna speak from the heart. I follow taksal maryada, but i have respect for all other groups. I don't start complaining and protesting when people are doing chatka or eating meat, or if people don't read the same bani as i do...so why should i start complaining about this? People have the freedom to follow Sikhi the way they want. The way i see it is this: what do i know? i am learning myself, and have no avasta at all. i can't just start pointing fingers at people when i know nothing myself. I just follow a certain maryada because of certain influences/sangat around me. i could have easily have belonged to another group if i had met different people. All of us could have. Thats why i feel that we should try to be the best sikhs we can for ourselves, and let others trek on their journeys. We are not the taliban. We can't force people to think the same we do. If i have said anything wrong, please forgive me. And mods...please don't erase this post. if you read carefully, you will see i am not bashing any group or causing division...if anything i am trying to cause unity.

Who is whining and crying? Members are writing information here that is needed to be known. Its called news. Good for you stay home and enjoy your day. Two thumbs up for you guy. If you think its all crying, then don't come on this site. Is some dhunda follower twisting your arm to come here? Your telling others to stop crying, but your crying by writing this rant of yours that has no merit.

Do you ever see taksalis protesting and complaining at akj programs? Or AKJs protesting Nihang singh programs? These groups have some pretty big difference on some issues. But they have a mutual respect for each other and allow them to do their own thing.

What does anything of the above have to do with dhunda? Does any of the above jathas say simran is useless, slander Sri Darbar Sahib, call the sakhi of the Gurus fake, and slander at Guru Sahib's Bani. Dhunda has and will continue to say these disgusting things. These jathas have full respect for Maharaj. So don't even compare Panthic jathas to anti-panthic groups. Have you seen any of the jathas kiss and hug Darshan Ragi, after he slander Satguru Sri Guru GObind Singh Sahib ji Maharaj and Dasam Bani?

I'm seriously getting sick and tired of this gong show we are puting on. its not gonna get us anywhere.

Providing information is not a gong show. Go drink some water to calm down.

Another thing: i dont think that the video flying around the internet of dhundha speaking against Sri Jaap Sahib is even him. I have heard that some surrey sangat approached him and he says that the video is not him speaking, and that he does Jaap Sahib daily.

Hanji Bhai Sahib a person that says infront of Maharaj's sangat that at Sri Darbar Sahib there is disgusting Banis being read. Will tell you the truth on what he said. Some people believe everything they hear, without going into the facts.

I do not agree with the people he associates with, but then again, we have different jathas hanging out with other jathas and nobody says anything about that. Why the double standards?

This is why we have a problem in the Panth. No one wants to take the time out and find out the facts. If you had just taken the time out to watch one video posted on this thread, where inder singh ghagga slanders Simran and our Guru Sakhis. Then Dhunda says i and inderjit singh ghagga have the same views. You would have saved yourself from ranting. Dhunda doesn't just associate with inderjit singh ghagga, but has the same views. He said it himself and you didn't know that because you didn't take the time out to find out the facts. You can't compare Panthic Jathas to anti-panthic groups.

When some Singh in a chola/dumalla gets accused of something bad, we just ignore or say "its probably not true" and leave it at that. But when someone else is accused of something, we jump all over them, not even asking for clarification.

Sri Akal Takht Sahib has told Dhunda to come straight to Harmandir Sahib so he can tell everyone which disgusting Banis are read at Sri Darbar Sahib. But Dhunda said, no i am not going to come till i finish my manmat preaching up. You seriously don't know whats going on here. Before talking do some research, but hey i guess everyone is crying here and your right....lol.....damn this post is funny.

In conclusion...I'm gonna speak from the heart. I follow taksal maryada, but i have respect for all other groups. I don't start complaining and protesting when people are doing chatka or eating meat, or if people don't read the same bani as i do...so why should i start complaining about this? What a conclusion!!!! For content of your writing....I give you 1 out of 10. For researching finding.....I give you 1 out of 10. Before writing, please please do some research. And i only gave you 2 points out of 20 because i felt bad for you. Really you deserve zero because you can't even compare, analyize, fact find, or anything. For giving your opinion, i give you 1 out of 10. Because even when we give an opinion, it should be based on some facts.

One question. Do you in one way or another support Damesh Darbar in Surrey?

Damesh Darbar in Surrey is run by bunch of uncles that are hell beant over getting the Sikh sangat labelled as terrorist and hype up youth only to get them killed. They hate the youth because the youth of BC are making a positive move forward in getting a lot of youth into Sikhi, which before didn't even care. Damesh Darbar wants sangats money and nothing else. Greedy uncles that love the controversy with dhunda because then more sangat comes to hear what dhunda says at Damesh Darbar.

Only Five: There are people out there who try to look forward, be positive, and cause unity in the panth. Then there are those who are full of negativity and hate, and are just fueled by emotion. Its pretty easy to see which category you fall into from reading your above post.

ps- i have done my research and already know all the stuff you wrote above. The kala afghanis are causing great destruction to the panth with their fanatical views, but unfortunetely the other side is just as bad, just as negative, and when our beloved panth splits into two...they will be just as guilty. Just read about the split between the christians into prodestant and catholic. Or the split of the muslims. We will never learn lessons from others, and will make the same mistakes. As long as we have closed minded, negative, and judgemental people around, things will only get worse.

    • I think there are various different reasons for that. One being there are no consequences, which means no boundaries. Around 20 years ago people had to face consequences. With wanting to marry a non-Sikh, you were either disowned by your parents or you were forced to marry someone from a Sikh background. Now there are absolutely no consequences at all.   Much of it is to do with how the religions are practiced and preached. Muslims are constantly reminded of Hell, marrying non-Muslim means going to hell.  You see Sikhi isn't that different in that sense. Bani constantly reminds us of Narak and Dharam raj, and Guru Gobind Singh ji gave strict Hukkam of giving your daughters hand only to a Singh. But, the Sikhi which has been preached and practiced for long is a very wishy-washy Bollywood type of Sikhi.  Around 15 years ago, our community saw an explosion of love marriages, around this time very large numbers of Sikh kids started enrolling into further education, like uni etc   these things bring about cultural changes in immigrant communities, some positive, some negative.  With time, culture changes as well ..   In the old days after anand karaj the "reception party" was basically roti and then everyone went home. Some families used to have singers and dancers perform after the wedding in the house, men were allowed to sit and watch while women were strictly forbidden, so women would peak through the windows or from the roof tops. Years later it became acceptable for women to sit and watch the "entertainment". Eventually the entertainment became reception parties as we see in the west and people in Punjab started copying. Now people are having reception parties in nothing less than 4* venues, spending £100,000s,  we see brides openly drinking and getting drunk.  So you can see how culture changes ...  with this change peoples attitudes change.  Another interesting thing is here in the west the first South Asian community to push boundaries and make taboos acceptable are the Hindus!   then around 5 years later the Westernized, liberal kind of Sikhs copy the Hindus and then a few years later the rest of the community start following. Pakistanis normally catch up around 10 years later.  Its the order ... Homosexuality is now acceptable in the western Hindu community, so many gay Hindus are coming out and having gay mandir weddings and their families are supportive. I know a Gujju girl and her cousin is a lesbian and dating another Hindu lesbian, my friend sent me a photo of them! and both the families have accepted the couple. Currently the Sikh community, on this matter, is in the "debate phase"  give it another few years and it will be acceptable, and it will be the same Westernized, liberal, often successful and pagh wearing Sikhs that will be the first to make gay Sikh marriage acceptable, and then the rest of us will follow. Pakis will catch up around 10 years later.    Even in the paki community I've seen a lot of changes, some of the stuff that they do now wouldn't have been accepted 15 years ago or so. Apostasy among Muslims is on the rise, the women seem to be leading it!
    • Parent 1. Obviously it depends on the content and the aim of the school. It would be good to have all aspects of Sikhi in one place which has authenticity. No too much pressure for them to learn and churn out material to sit exams. It would be more of quality rather than quantity . 2. Support level , to get a clear understanding what will be taught and the kids and parents expectations right from the beginning. 3. Yes Cost does matter. We have 100's of Gurudawara who should have a budget set aside to invest in the kids and our future generation. So ideas such as this can be researched and developed without thinking about funding. If the cost was reasonable I would pay plus as already mentioned if free its not taken seriously. 4. Self paced is good , but there needs to be a facility where questions can be answered. May be have one or 2 live sessions and the rest self paced.   Sangat 1. Yes there should be tiers , but I think most importantly the material should be authentic. As theres a lot of online material , which ones are good resources , average and bad . 2. May be set up some kind of certification structure for sikhi which over time is recognized and can be used by individuals to train/educate other members of the public. Like many certification courses , they cost but not too much ( starting form £10 plus) The task should be to get as many people doing the online courses as possible, then the price can be low and you will cover your costs. 3.It should be focused to all the public regardless of their background. Made available to businesses ,schools, colleges, universities as part of the establishments diversification program. You have organisations such as Basics of Sikhi , Rajoana TV , Sikh Network etc.. who are doing a brillant job of explaining about sikhi. Tap in to them , make it a collective journey as you may find , they may already have a structure , resources in place , they just need a proper online presence. Reach out to the Sangat who have gyan about Sikhi  via social media and Gurudawara , as there are many Scholars out their. Why is Basics of Sikhi successful , because they keep it simple , easy to understand and follow.  As a parent one of the biggest hurdles for kids is speaking punjabi. Having dialogue with their parents/grandparents . My younger one , hardly speaks punjabi , but what I have found is sikh stories helps a lot. May be have online live sessions where sangat speak punjabi , general punjabi so at least they can particpate in conversations with the elder generation.
