Beadbi Of Guru Granth Sahib

shameful that in hall full of sangat no one told em to sort it out

Dhunda talks big, but his actions are no where to be found. Dhunda says he respect Maharaj a lot, but this shows he is all talk and is only into katha to make money. Causing contraversies makes a person more money, so its cunning marketing ideas hes using to make money.

Have you heard of the sakhi when guru nanak dev ji went to mecca and the mullah asked him to not point his feet at the khaba. God is every where. Guru is shabad the guru granth sahib is a vehicle to

I mean to say, brother/sister, that feet toward Mecca is not as bad as back to our Guru Ji because our Guru Ji is so much greater than Mecca and what it contains. We can't use that Sakhi to support th

Did I say it was ok to sit with your back toward Sri Guru Granth Sahib? Read my first post, where I explicitly agreed with you in this matter. Sachseeker pointed out the Sakhi, and you said, Sikhs are spreading misinformation, which I took to mean that you disagreed with this Sakhi/ thought it was false. I was debating THAT

In india when politicians, famous people (potentially like in this case) and bollywood stars enter Gurudwaras, sangat start giving them so much attention.

Singho, remember what the most important in the world is and why you have come into his house.

Guru Granth Sahib ji is our Guru, which must be respected at all times. Sikhs bow to the Guru and not face their backs. God is everywhere, however, the Guru's teachings are within Guru Granth Sahib ji.

I mean sure these Sikhs were not aware at their disrespect. If someone told them, I'm sure they would've move. Mistakes do happen.

Read my second post where i said 'trying to mislead people' not spreading misinformation.

I did not disagree with the Sakhi.

You said you were at Harmandir Sahib and someone got angry at someone for sitting with their feet towards Darbar Sahib. You asked didn't Guru Nanak Dev Ji fight this very thing.

I think you are confused. Like i said before spend less time debating.

I am not here to disagree with Sakhiyan.

Gods everywhere, but His power

Is concentrated in Guru Ji. You use Mecca to

Support your claim? Are you kidding me, bro? You think Mecca is the same as Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaaj? Guru Ji>Mecca

What is wrong with Makkah? if Dhan Guru Nanak respects it in his Bani who are you to insult it you murakh! [fool]

Sri Vaheguru ji Maharaj has taken up the Sirgun Saroop of Satguru Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji Maharaj so you can't say Maharaj is different than Satguru.

:biggrin2:

Erm you're obviously oblivious to what the Dhan Gurus have said. GURBANI alone is the form [roop] of Guru! [shabad Guru]

Waheguru Ji is the same as Guru Granth Sahib Ji? Where did u get this from. If that was true, then the 10 guru must have also been the same as Waheguru Ji. Then why did we not worship them? Because they explicitly told us they were not Akal Purakh. Wahegurus Jot is found in each of the Gurus, but don't say they are the same, because they are not

The poster beginner is right 100% on, what he said about Mecca and he did not disrespect Mecca in anyway. Intead you disrespected him by being ignorant to the facts and chose to slander him out of anger. Respect takes many forms and different levels. Some like to keep everything ambigious so others make assumptions and go off the Guru path. Thanks to the poster Beginner who did not write vague and showed the true Sikh color by giving respect to Satguru Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji Maharaj and giving respect to Mecca in its place; not equal to Maharaj.

Satguru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji Maharaj gave Guruship to Satguru Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji Maharaj. So Satguru Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj is the Guru and Saroop of Akal Purakh (you can't see it, develop the eyes to see it). Because Gurbani tells us from Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji Maharaj to Satguru Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji Maharaj, Akal Purakh took the form as the Guru and spread Gurmat all over creation.

There's a lot of naastic questions arising in this thread.. Anyone with love and shardha for Guru Sahib would not pose such naastic questions.

Dhan Sri Guru Granth sahib ji is not a holy book, ink, or even confined to holy shabad as most people like to preach. Maharaaj in their entirety are the Guru, Dassa'n Guru ki Deh.. the embodiment of the 10 Guru's.

Guru Sahib were Akaal purkh themselves, they knew in their 10'th form they would hand over gurugaddi to Guru Granth sahib ji, and to show how Sewa of Guru Granth should be done they did it themselves.

Guru Sahibs slept lower than Guru Granth Sahib ji, did parkash, sukhasan. This is well before Guru Granth sahib ji even given Gurugaddi.

Those who are in love with Maharaaj treat Maharaaj as a living body, they offer before eating, on cold days offer blankets, and new ramaaleh... the same devotion they would show Guru Nanak Dev ji Maharaaj, because there is no difference.

Kabbah or no kabbah.. who cares... maharaaj did what they did in mecca, they also stopped huge rocks with their hand. Going Harmandir Sahib and pointing your feet directly at Maharaaj, your asking to get your knee caps done

Shabad was ever present in cosmos, is present and will be present.

Gurbani is expressed form of shabad through Guru sahibans.

When Guru arjan Dev ji did parkash of aad Granth sahib , he sat

on the gorund at a lower pedestal. So Guru Granth sahib is sacred

for sikhs and we should not say only akhars are holy.

The more you insult the Religion of others shows you're not a Sikh of the Gurus at all.

The basics of Sikhi is that it does not involve idolatry, what you've said and those that do, are committing a sin. You've turned it into an Idol no better than Hindus.

Jis pāhan ka▫o pāṯī ṯorai so pāhan nirjī▫o. ||1||

That stone idol, for which you tear off those leaves - that stone idol is lifeless

That's a different kind of respect. He didn't turn it into an idolistic worshipping ritual. The Shabad Guru is contained within the Shri Guru Granth Sahib, it holds the word, it is a vessel to carry the Naam.
