Doesn't matter you will find loads of people who are in it for the money if you are talking about the khalistani ideology some say khalistanis have sold their sold. His own business, peoples own business, we should look at our selves what's the point of doing his nindya and taking his paap on our heads, let him pay for his paap. Loads of bhangra singers sleep with all sorts of people. The question is not about them but us, why do we leave our guru to see bhangra artists. You will notice singhs promote raves on the same day as a gurpurbh, but the question is the sikh youth who run away from the guru and towards bhangra. The issue is even in the raagis and kirtanis who can't connect with the youth and connect with elders because they have money and give it to them. The raagis who are illiterate, our own direction and where we are going. Is gurdwara for old people who don't have much time left in the world to go to or for people to grow up inside and find themselves and direction. The elders can't connect with the kids and pass down wisdom. A generation gap is getting wider and wider, people have domestic problems at home outside with family, family friends and friends. We need to go inside ourselves and find the simran.

If we use this tactic who will defend the panth, what would happen if Metahab Singh and Sukha Singh said the same thing bout mussa runger?

The Miss Pooja advert supporting Badal is too funny

Someone should ask that 300 watt da pattya speaker Moranwali why he sucks up to Jazzy B one of his best mates and makes remarks about other singers? Moranwali played the sarangi for Jazzy B';s Naag track and meets him on regular occasions ..he recently called Jazzy B Naujawana deh dillan di dhadkan in the such soorma video as seen here:

Jazzy B is a looser hes got all that money and yet still falls to the feet of the likes of Badal for more

A consistent trend within Punjab politics has been to utilize the influence of celebrities and singers in an attempt to promote a political agenda to sway voters. For example, The People’s Party of Punjab (PPP) has extensively leveraged Bhagwant Mann, who is also a candidate, to consolidate support for their party, even going as far as having him produce a song to persuade a much younger voter base by releasing his own version of the hit Tamil song, Kolaveri Di (You can view it here).

Although, it can be argued that this is part of the political game, the latest celebrity to be exploited by a political party is of great concern. A recent endorsement that has been used as an instrument to spew party propaganda has added an additional element to this emerging phenomenon. Jazzy B, an internationally known Punjabi singer has crossed into dangerous territories when he recently came out in support of the SAD-BJP party, despite the fact that he is not running as a candidate in the current election.

Jazzy B has spent numerous years in Canada and cannot claim ignorance. As a celebrity who has grown up primarily in Canada, he is not a product of Indian propaganda and should be well aware of the problematic nature of what he has done.

To elaborate on this, Jazzy B was exposed to the very same issues many of us in the diaspora have been, growing up. For example, in the aftermath of the 1984 Sikh Genocide, Jazzy B felt the way many of us do today and even released a socially conscious album alongside Moranwali Dhadhi Jatha, in which he discusses the false encounters and illegal detentions committed by the Punjab Police against the Sikh youth in their attempt to exterminate the community. (Listen here)

However, in an appalling move, he has since come out in support of the Shirmoni Akali Dal and Bharatiya Janata Party (SAD-BJP alliance), as can be seen from this video, which indicates a change in attitude or revelation of his true intent.

So we ask:

Jazzy B-trayal, if you are aware of even a single component of the genocide, you should know one of the master minds and architects of the illegal detentions and false encounters that you refer to in your track is Sumedh Saini, who also happens to be a key ally of Parkash Singh Badal (who has even been offered a promotion should they secure their victory in this election).

In addition, you should be aware that the BJP is a radical Hindutva organization that is known for their attempt to distort Sikh philosophy and history in an attempt to devoid the Panth of its sovereignty. Including, launching vicious assaults such as the massacre at Harminder Sahib in June of 1984 with the support of its federal leader, L. K. Advani.

So why is that if you are aware, that you have endorsed the SAD-BJP Political alliance that additionally supports numerous Deras and Babbey that break Ekta in the Panth and manipulate the masses for their hidden political agenda?

Well, we don’t expect to get an answer, so we’ll assume that Jazzy B-trayal has caved into the peer pressure of many other Punjabi singers. It is unfortunate, but true that he is not the only celebrity to support the BJP-SAD alliance; Harbhajan Mann has also come out in support, much earlier than him.Well, we don’t expect to get an answer, so we’ll assume that Jazzy B-trayal has caved into the peer pressure of many other Punjabi singers. It unfortunate, but true that he is not the only celebrity to support the BJP-SAD alliance; Harbhajan Mann has also come out in support, and Hans Raj Hans did as well.

Sad isn’t it? What do we do you may ask? Well, as we await the results of the 2012 election, we shouldn’t let our memories fade, when supporters of the Badal Regime come to our local concert halls seeking our dollars, we should seize the opportunity and send our message loud and clear. As supporters and lovers of peace and human rights, our money will not be given to actors in Badals Natakentitled “The Demise of Punjab”.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
