1/2/12:

"Had a meeting with the Dudley Gurdwara committee last night. After throwing up unreasonable demand after unreasonable demand the talks were called off. They seem to be putting up obstacles on purpose to slow down the energy of the youth and have no interest in furthering the teachings of our Guru's. Internal politics have ruined the Gurdwara we were brought up in. We have a meeting with the second Dudley Gurdwara on thursday to talk about moving the youth movement there with a rough date of the second week of feb for our first Gurmat Camp there which will have the presence of either Sangat TV or Sikh Channel. We wanted to be peaceful and help turn Dudley Gurdwara around, it is with a heavy heart that we are now going to base our youth group away from the home we were born into."

7/2/12:

"After a meeting between Dudley Youth and Guru Tegh Bahadur Gurdwara, Dudley, we have agreed to create a Gurmat Camp during half term, more details will be available over the coming days. This has only been possible thanks to Guru Ji's kirpa and the help and support of our brothers and sisters."

Please can all of you try your hardest to come and support this. Especially after the bad press our town and its people were subjected to for events that occurred. We are trying our hardest to make amends for the complacency of ou

r community leaders over almost the last two decades, leading to countless members of our community (especially youths) not being given the priceless gift of being educated about Sikhism.
