Why Are There No Women Granthies In Darbar Sahib?

I have always wonderes as to why have i never seen any woman granthies at Darbar Sahib . Then i came to know that they are simple not allowed to be . Given the great virtues of equality our Gurus gave bestowed upon us, i fail to understand why there is this discrimination at our most important Gurudwara . Why doesn't anyone do something about this?????????

What do you think of the situation? Taking into account Sikh history and other issues of that nature, what do you reckon shoud happen?

My opinion is once we take back the SGPC from the hands of masands (puppets of Badal and sell outs to the likes of the RSS) such issues can further be tackled.

In Sikhi, women should be allowed to do kirtan or any sewa in Darbar Sahib.

As funny as it sounds, I know people who believe bibian aren't allowed to Kirtan and sewa in Darbar Sahib. One person's justification: they didn't do it before, so why do it now? :stupidme:

im all for bibya doing seva in darbar sahib..but there must be a reason why they have not been allowed to as of yet...why were they never allowed to do kirtan?..there must be a reason..
