Islam-Sikhism

[Mod Edit: Link removed due to the fact you are just promoting the page by posting the link here. It only has 51 likes at the moment. However if everyone on here goes on the page and likes it to comment on it, they are just promoting the page more and giving it more publicity as it appears on there walls for everyone to see they have liked it, and then they will like it and so on... and then eventually some bechara will like it and actually get persuaded by the guy. However they won't get to that page if you don't all like it due to the lack of publicity.

This guy is extremely clever, seriously don't post the link anywhere even if your intentions are good. He speaks about Sikhi with so much respect and even shows a lot of respect towards Guru Ji, however its all just tactics. Some people force you, some groom, some bribe, and some just simple be kind. Either way they are all just different tactics to get you away from Sikhi. No point in arguing back with them either, as for some reason all you guys seem to do is shout and swear and make Sikhs look like fools and unintelligent. If you want to have a calm intelligent discussions with them then thats fine, but just remember don't get hot headed, as that is there tactics too, also whatever you say, they won't listen.]

http://www.islam-watch.org/SyedKamranMirza/Quran-contradiction-flaws.htm

There are many numerical contradictions in the Quran. God cannot make an error in doing simple calculations. How many days did it take to create Heavens and Earth?

(Quran-7:54): Your guardian-Lord is Allah who created the heavens and earth in Six Days (Quran-10:3): Verily your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and earth in Six Days (Quran- 11:7): He it is Who created the heavens and earth in Six Days Quran-25:59: He Who created the heavens and earth and all that is between, in Six Days

The above verses clearly state that God (Allah) created the heaven and the Earth in 6 days. But the verses below stated-

(Quran-41:9): Is it that ye deny Him who created the earth in Two Days ?

(Quran- 41:10): He set on the (earth) Mountains standing firm high above it, and bestowed blessing on the earth, and measured therein all things to give them nourishment in due proportion, in FOUR DAYS…

(Quran-41:12): So He completed them (heavens) as seven firmaments in Two days and … Now do the math: 2(for earth) + 4(for nourishment) + 2 (for heavens) = 8 days; and not 6 days

Quran-4:11-12 and 4:176 state the Qur'anic inheritance law. When a man dies, and is leaving behind three daughters, his two parents and his wife, they will receive the respective shares of 2/3 for the 3 daughters together, 1/3 for the parents together [both according to verse 4:11] and 1/8 for the wife [4:12] which adds up to more than the available estate. A second example: A man leaves only his mother, his wife and two sisters, then they receive 1/3 [mother, 4:11], 1/4 [wife, 4:12] and 2/3 [the two sisters, 4:176], which again adds up to 15/12 of the available property.

Quran and Islam are flawed concepts if you dig deeper into their background and quotes you can find the truth. But a muslim has to have an open mind to find the truth blind faith wont save them when this life is over so its in there interest to explore Sikhism and other different spiritual ideologies.

In my personal view Islam has past its sell by date, prophet muhammad was a man of his times he was no saint nor was he a complete villain he tried to do the best he could for his people in the times he lived in, so he was more of a social reformer but in the modern age his ideology does not stand up to the sciences/technologies, freedoms and human rights that most people want these days.

I'm sure our Hindu 'friends' are loving this thread. We are surely puppets on their strings.

They occupy our land and deny us fredom and yet we're havin' a pop at islam.

They massacre us and yet we're having a pop at islam.

They try to anihilate us and yet we're havin a pop at islam.

They deny us basic human rights and yet we're havin a pop at islam.

They must be lauging their socks off. They must be blessing the day they ever met people like us. Not only can they subdue us and take away our dignity....but they can then even go on to make us fight their dirty proxy war against the muslims for them. Is there really no limit to our sillyness ?

I would say the West's attempt at demonsing and chipping away at Islam - not that they'd ever admit to it - has only served to strengthen the religion and the veracity of faith of it's adherents. If anything it's a policy that's backfired.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
