During SP pakistani violence - i know of a true story that happened in 80's that a known pakistani trouble maker sexually abused a young Sikh man and then distributed videos of his actions to Sikh houses thru the post as a warning that this is what will happen to you all. The news even came out in the SUN newspaper. Today this man is dead he was shot by his own cousin for raping his own cousin sister.

Interesting PAL07 ! - I want to try to locate this article from the Sun - do you have any dates of this incident - the World should know the nature of the menace that Sikhs faced in the 1980s - and which the UK is now only just recently waking up to........with the many recent court cases of grooming up and down the country !

I have personally known Bush and Bomb Singh amongst other apne that were involved with the S.P movement in the mid to late 80's and in my opinion they are to be commended for their actions .What you have to understand is the socio-climate at the time ,there was alot of Pakis checking apnia or trying it on with them. A true story ....I used to go to Smethwick Hall boys school next door was athe girls school . At dinner times a whole load of Paki taxi drivers would turn up to perv on them ,it used to happen every day also I used to live on an adjacent road to the school and my cousins used to live further up on the road .One day my aunt came round our house and told us that the previous day there was a knock on her door and when she answered the door there were some girls from the girls school and basically they were asking for refuge because they were being harrassed and followed by some pakis in a car.My aunt let em in and after a little while they left . Anyway word got out about what was going on at the school and one diner time while the Pakis were parked up 2 van load of S.P lads Bush and Bomb included turned up and give the <banned word filter activated> a beating they never forgot ..... The pakis never came back to our school after that

Now that is just one of multiple true stories of what happened in those days now fast forward to the mid 90's in Slough and excactly the same thing was happening (how do I know? ... I moved to Slough in 1989) But it wasnt Bomb or Bush but a new generation mainly Southall lads that Im still personally close to this very day.....also most of them were monay but since then some have kept their kesh and some have even taken Amrit ... So all in all what im trying to say is it really doesnt matter if they were monay or not they still did a service to the community wether we like it or not ...I mean sometimes it takes an age to find your true vocation life

WAAAH kya baat hai, i've said it before on this site, but SP r legends, end of! they shud never ever ever have packd the service in, but these dumb gurdwara committees r 2 blame. SP warned and warned r elders that this/that was happning (prostitution to pakistan/blackmailing/groomin etc) but no 1 listened, they were laughed out of the gurdwaras, called trouble makers, n now EVERYONE knows wats gwaanin on streets. IF we didnt hav such Politically correct dumbos in r community we wudda taught em a lesson every week after the 2000's onwards! while im here, big up other sikh groups like sikh unit, holy smoke and tooti nangs

a few questions, is SP still around? wat are their numbers? where are most of them based now? also wat was the most of amount numbers SP had at one point? ive seen on another site, that their members were numbering over 1,200 across the uk, it was like a network, those numbers seem quite high, if only we cud get bak 2 that!

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
