*** PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND SHARE *** FACTS - Bhai Balwant Singh ji has been denied his request for Shaheedi on the 31st March (in Punjab) - they can still hang Bhai Sahib on that day, before or after ANYWHERE else in INDIA - Bhai Sahib has served 17years in Jail, life is 14years so he should be released WE ARE BACK TO SQUARE 1, people will now abandon the march to Patiala Jail. They have stopped our Morcha in Punjab to Patiala before its got going. WE MUST KEEP THE CAMPAIGN GOING NISHAN SAHIBS FLYING MEDIA AWARENESS MUST BE MAXIMISED, if there is no hanging in Punjab on 31st then WE want Balwant Singh Rajoana RELEASED ON 31st March - THE BEGINNING - JOIN THE REVOLUTION #IPledgeOrange #Rajoana

--------------------------

As with Singh Sahib Bhullar, they put them in solitary confinement, in total darkness, poisoned their food with mood altering substances, took away their kakkars.. with the aim to push them into insanity..

if they don't hang Rajoana else where in hindustan, they will also give him the same prison treatment... this is worse than the fansi..

We want Rajaona released unconditionally and appointed jathedhar akal thakt.

The Punjab Government has refused to hang Bhai Sahib in Punjab as it does not want the trouble on its doorstep. It has said it does not have the judiciary power to hold the hanging. In the message relayed back to the Court and Chandigarh adminisration, the Punjab Government has asked them to have the hanging in Chandigarh which os outside Punjab!! Also this may result in nothing but a delay of the hanging whilst Bhai Balwant Singh ji Rajoana continues to be imprisoned!! This breaking news is good news but not the end all...The Battle to save Bhai Sahib Continues...Please do not let the momentum break!! Stay United continue to contact your local MP's and MEP's to raise awareness of the Indian Human Rights abuses!!

Has the march to the jail been abandoned or is OP just saying there could be a chance of it being cancelled?

Hopefully Bhai Sahib Rajoana gives more statements that keeps the Ankh awake and the youth moving in Punjab and elsewhere, it's a good electric feeling in the air right now

Punjab already decided this about a week ago and fight is going on between chandigarh court and punjab jail DGP (kant) via snail mail. It is widely known from day one that Punjab sarkar (regardless of any party) will never such political suicide by hanging any sikh in this age. Punjab never bothered to make any type of arrangements neither they are looking for a hangman (which they don't have one for decades). By all legal means, punjab have full right to refuse such court order. They do take prisoners from UT (chandigarh) based decision but punjab govt charge them for prisoners expense (food/lodging etc.) All comes under chief minister power and he already made and gave decision. Only way they (indian sarkar) can force punjab is to put state under "President Rule" which they did several times in past [exactly eight time in 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's.]

Whoever the Judge is, he played a very clever political game. The only way is that they can play stupid game by picking up another state (which i also doubt that anyone want trouble on their head) BUT still thats the only possibility left.. just like british hurriedly and privately (unannounced location) hangedbhagat singh and two other naujawans.

My reading of the situation is that, intially SAD had lobbied and assumed that the Jathedars would force Bhai Balwants Singhs family to put an appeal on his behalf. If you look at the interview of sant Samaj, on Sikh Channel, Bhai Jasbir Singh Rode, states that they have told the jathedars that they should tell the family, via his brother to appeal, if not the second option would be tell SAD to pass a resolution in the Assembly.

The jathedars under pressure did not agree with this, but threw a 'lifeline' to SAD, by directing them to work out a solution for the uncondiational release of bhai sahib. By doing this they have played a political game, by ensuring that Badal, can the say, i have listened to the panth via the jathedars and taken action. As he could have done this without the jathedars telling him to do so.

They will not 'hang' bhai sahib, as Badal has stated that his will do everyting to kep peace and communal harmony in Punjab. This means they will lobby to make sure he is not 'hanged' anywhere in India, as the troubles will still happen in Punjab.

All panthic jathebandis, especially in Punjab, need to keep up the pressure, even if Bhai Sahib is not' hanged', as the Akal Takht Adesh, states and asks for his uncoditional release from Prison and this needs to happen.

What has come out of this is that the Sant Samaj and its crony organisation in the UK, International Panthic Dal, carry no 'weight' in Punjab and have sold out. On the IPD website, it states that all panthic jathebandis should come under SAD. Not realising that SAD has declared itself as a Secular party, that go against the principles of Miri and Piri.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
