Yeah I don't think so either. It's just like combing your hair and taking out tangles.

It's not similar.

The original poster should be really careful. Just like you wouldn't want your finger cut off by mistake, you don't want your hair to be removed by mistake. :biggrin2:

Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh ||

what i do is place a soft cloth or medical tissue to soak up the blood and attatch it to the injured limb with that white stretchy cloth that first aid boxes have . I think they're called tensor bandages or something..

Bhul Chuk Muaff.

What do you mean? Are you saying hair removed by band aid is wrong?

Soak it with warm water, until the bandaid comes off itself. Then you just have to gently pull it back and no hair would be removed. If hair does come off then you did the best to prevent the hair from being removed. Think of it in the way.....what if that was your finger and if you don't take the proper precaution then your finger can be cut.

It's not a Kurehet. All i am saying is be careful.

Do you think Bhai Kanaiya had tensor bandages in his time? If Guru Ji takes off your limb in an accident do you go for Pesh? If Guru Ji themselves removed the plaster would you go for Pesh? What do you think Guru Ji would say if you asked them this question? Have you asked them? Would the time asking/answering these questions be better spent on doing a Sukhmani Sahib? Do you think Guru Ji will erase all your good deeds/Amrit for taking off a plaster? What is your intention when removing it?

Thank you for this post. I agree with you. These days we have made Amrit so fear based and have forgotten the essence.

Guru Sahib took it off, so he knows what happened. Also in Rehat it does not say taking off your limb is a a Kurehit. Removing hair is.

If Guru Ji themselves removed the plaster would you go for Pesh?

If Guru Sahib removed it, then he would do it with care and make sure no hair is removed. He wouldn't be careless.

What do you think Guru Ji would say if you asked them this question?

He would say my son/daughter is be careful and doesn't want to break his bond with me.....so he goes to great lenghts to...

Have you asked them? Would the time asking/answering these questions be better spent on doing a Sukhmani Sahib?

I doubt it, took 1 hour and 30 mins to ask or answer this question. Plus it's a legitimate question, so there is no harm in asking.

Do you think Guru Ji will erase all your good deeds/Amrit for taking off a plaster? What is your intention when removing it?

I don't think you understood the original poster. He is being careful and doesn't want to commit a Kurihet. He should be praised for this as many Amritdharis don't even care and are so careless to the point they commit Kurihets and don't go pesh. There is nothing wrong with be careful. It is the careless nature that many Sikhs today have adopted, which needs to be condemned. Guru Sahib was hurt when his chola broke a flower.......this Sakhi needs to be absorbed by more Sikhs and we will become less aggressive and rigid.
