I go to that Gurdwara most of the week and do Seva there. The dirty history of politics follows the committee and a lack of Sikhi Parchaar does too.

These pendu tamashas take place in most Gurdwaras every weekend and are not just distinct to Huddersfield. Until these kinds of prabhandaks mature up, we'll continually witnessing this pushing and shoving, The only way is for the mature thinking focussed Sikhs from the Sangat to infiltrate the Gurdwara administration and side line these kind of people out. It has worked in the past but requires commitment and passion from the sangat to become members iof the Gurdwara committees in larger groups.

We highlighted this case on youtube in the last 2 weeks or so and had positive feedback from worldwide sangat.We found out this was an assult on a gursikh who has been doing sewa there for over 20 years. The group called Khanda, is responsible for this attack, also forms the commitee. What we found out from the sangat was that they run the gurdwara as they want to and not as the gurdwara should be run. This group has been known for violance in the community and do what they like. When someone stands upto them, they intimidate and follow with other threats to scare them. One of the khanda group member called the gursikh in for something and soon started making fun of him infront of the other khanda members in the room of 15 are so other members. When the gursikh stood up for himself they then assaulted him and picked up a pair of scissors to harm him. We are told the very next day a senior member of the committee from the khanda group started telling lies to everyone about the gursikh to turn the sangat against him. but he is a well known figure in the community and kind to everyone and helps everyone as we found. What we also found out from the sangat is as follows:- The khanda groups foundation are based on lies, forcefully doing things against the will of local sangat as in this case of the gursikh. We also had comments from the sangat and viewers of youtube commenting that there is also a big issue in the kitchen where week old food is put out to the sangat everyday of the week. We also found out the lady who is responsible of the kitchen is also very rude and has insulted many members of the community in the last year.

This is not religion. its people. manmukhs thinking they can control a Guru ghar. i dont see the connection this has with religion- anyone being put off or not.
