ਜ਼ਫਰਨਾਮਾ ਮਤਲਬ "ਜਿੱਤ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ" (Declaration of Victory) ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਓਦੋਂਲਿਖਿਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਸਾਰਾ ਸਰਬੰਸ ਪੰਥ ਲੇਖੇ ਲਾਅ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀ ਕਲਾ ਵਿਚ ਰਹੇ। ਇਸ ਵਿਚ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਔਰੰਗਜ਼ੇਬ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਮਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਭੁਲੇਖੇ ਵਿਚ ਰਹੇ ਕਿ ਉਸਦੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਹਾਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਬੁਜ਼ਦਿਲ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਦਕਰਾਇਆ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਫੌਜ ਨੇ ਕੁਰਾਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਝੂਠੀਆਂ ਕਸਮਾਂ ਖਾ ਧੋਖੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਕੀਤੀ। 

ਜ਼ਫਰਨਾਮਾ ਬਾਣੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਉਖੀ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਿਰਫ ਪਹਿਲੇ 4 ਵਰਸੇਜ਼ ਹੀ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਕੀਤੇਹਨ । ਉਚਾਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਟਰਾਂਸਲੇਸ਼ਨ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਊਣਤਾਈ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਰੋਤਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਆਫੀਮੰਗਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜੀ । - ਪਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ
