At one point the total fertility rate for women was 3.4 whereas the number goes up to 4.5 for Muslim women. That is a HUGE difference.

Here is another article comparing Muslim fertility rates to other non muslim nations. Although they are decreasing, they are still a lot more than non muslim nations.

Here is another Islam Q/A website:

"Having a lot of children is something that is encouraged in Islam and the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) urged Muslims to do that. Abu Dawood (2050) narrated that Ma’qil ibn Yazaar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A man came to the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and said: “O Messenger of Allaah, I have found a woman who is from a good family and is beautiful, but she does not bear children; should I marry her?” He told him not to. Then he came to him a second time and said something similar and he told him not to marry her. Then he came to him a third time and said something similar and he (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Marry the one who is loving and fertile, for I will be proud of your great numbers.”

Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Irwa’ al-Ghaleel, 1784."

And by the way Mr. Auzer, I would like to see how many Sikhs on an Islamic forum would be allowed to post as freely as you've been doing so on here. Not only that, I'd be really interested to know how many of them would be allowed to have a display picture that glorifies their non-Islamic faith. Thankfully Sikhs believe in the fact that there is only One God, rather than "there is only my God".

OK...go to Islamic forum...uhh say www.whyIslam.com ... make a profile...put the picture of "Khanda" is your DP...and start posting decently etc...

Then tell me if you get ban? NEVER. You'll never get banned.

Secondly , you won't find people posting "Oh Guru Nanak is this..and that...blah blah" ...while you see what RebelSingh ji and Pather posts in every post...a long , copy-paste , anti-Islamic rhetoric...

So ........

Insulting the founder of a major world religion is not right. If you don't agree with something it's better to keep your views to yourself. This is a Sikhism forum, people come here to learn about Sikhism not insult other religions. The kind of content I see here sometimes and on other Sikh forums is exactly why I wouldn't suggest a Hindu or Muslim to learn about Sikhism from a Sikh discussion forum. Even if you don't agree with someone, does it hurt to be a little respectful to a fellow human being?

**SSM edit : If you find any such posts that contradict Gurmat and/or violate the rules of the forums (like what you said in your post above), please feel free to report them so mods can see them faster. A lot of people view these forums and it's the duty of everyone, including those that post here, to ensure the environment remains tolerant and intellectual. Dhanvaad

I'll let you search for the word "Sikh" on any Islamic forum and see for yourself. Moreover, Khanda represents the infinite nature of ONE God, not the fact that "my God" is real and "yours" isn't. So you can't even compare the Khanda to any Islamic symbol. The quote in your display is the shahada, that Allah is the only God and Hazrat Muhammad ji is the only apostle. Below that you have the sword of Islam which actually made people recite this and embrace Islam. This is what the Saudi flag looks like as well.

Anyways, we've allowed you to preach enough Islam on a Sikh forum. How about you come forward with something you need to ask us about Sikhi? Surely if one registered to go to medical school, he/she did so to become a doctor, not to teach folks out there how to paint.

.

Wrong. The English Translation of the wordings in my DP is

"There is not god , but The God...and Muhammad is his prophet" .....

Please don't misquote...

How Ironic? Preaching Islam? Yeah right... I NEVER even talked about Islam... I wanted Sikhs' perspective..like I opened the thread what SIkhs think about Pakistan etc...it was some SIKH MEMBERS who brought Islam in..and yet I didn't reply to them and just reported the thread...So please..keep your "preaching Islam" tag to yourself. I never brought Islam in anything...but others did...and even you know that.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
