The Badal Akali Dal in their 1996 election manifesto had a pledge to launch an investigation into the genocide of Sikhs over the previous 20 years. This included an investigation into the murder of Jaswant Singh Khalra, the 1984 massacres and the wholesale killing of Sikhs after that. This was then subsequently quietly dropped due to pressure from Delhi.

With the Badal Dal in power again with their Sant Samaj allies (Many Sant Samaj organisation members suffered from mass killings) can they launch an investigation now? Still to see any results of the Sant Samaj work in the background.

This was hardly an achievement as we had been incorrectly termed as Hindus by the Indian constitution for the last 60 years. A bit of joke that it took 60 years, nothing has been gained by Sikhs. The Indian Constitution was never signed by the Sikh represenatives as even 60 years ago the Indian game plan was to make us Hindus was noticed.

But what about the 100,000+ Sikhs murdered in India over the last 30 years why is ther no enquiry? In the West 13 people were killed in Ireland by the British army and the Irish did not rest until the blame was put on Britain .

It is like Badal Akalis/Sant Samaj know that Genocide took place but they do not want to mention it unless their Delhi masters get annoyed.
