Simple.

We need a proper ground level, conscious movement within our people that sweeps away all the old baggage, bull5hite like a tidal wave.

The first and foremost thing we have to do as individuals is make sure we aren't dumb by constantly educating ourselves - not only about our religious heritage but by also learning from other successful movements like the civil rights one in the US. Learn about those religions that spread themselves successfully (yes even Islam! All of their expansion is not due to the sword believe it or not!). Our actions (towards each other at the very least) should be guided by deeply felt egalitarian principles instead closet agendas. We grow strong by uplifting ,strengthening and empowering the weak amongst us instead of oppressing them or being indifferent. We have to put a high value on each other. We have to value high character over dogmatic practice. We have to consciously and rigorously destroy the social structures and hierarchies that keep us pinned down into small minded penduness regardless of our older generations investments into these structures.

We have to master the grand political game, health issues, parenting, war. We need people capable of handling themselves on the street as much as we need doctors and lawyers.

We have to stop burying our heads to issues we face. We have to accept fair criticism without getting defensive. We have to become more open WITHOUT becoming dumb, naive victims of our own generosity. We have to get seriously streetwise. We have to raise literacy in English AND Panjabi. We have to develop our art, literature and media to be worldclass. We have to think in terms of economy too, and develop a robust strong global Sikh economy.

We have to stretch ourselves as much as we can and avoid and isolate those backwards people who just keep bringing the same, tired, old bukwaas arguments/ideas in the mix.

In maharajah Ranjit Singh's time the top man was a Sikh and the top generals, or a majority of them. Everyone in Khalistan should get the right to voice their opinions and it should be the duty of the Khalsa government to hear their demands and act in their best interests. The first thing though is to increase Sikhi through prachar. Prachar, prachar and more prachar. Especially in India. Gyani Gurbachan Singh Ji Bhindranwale, and Sant Baba Attar Singh Ji used to preach to Hindus. The Singh Sabha movement inspired many Hindus to become Sikhs themselves. Lets face it, in theory our religion is not discrminatory. WE OURSELVES ARE. If we better ourselves and start preaching to members of other religions who are discriminated against and want to leave their faith then we can increase Sikhi population wise. As for Khalistan, if India was to improve today and give Sikhs their rights (I am sure the reader knows what I am referring to) than there is no need for Khalistan. But as Baba Baljit Singh Ji Dadu Sahib said last year, Sikh institutes aren't listening to Sikhs themselves so forget the dream of anyone else listening to Sikhs. In Khalistan we cannot make the mistake India has made, and still is making or turn into a Taliban government. Democracy has to be implemented correctly and also in accordance with Sikhi, that will be Khalistan. Personally thinking, please feel free to barge ur criticism at me, I don't think any form of government prevalent today in the world will work in Khalistan. A new one will have to be created. Other than that as I said before, prachar and educate urselfs.

In Puratan times people were willing to let Sikhs rule because they trusted them. The government at the time was openly oppressive (those brothers who have studied Islamic and Hindu writings will know why). Today's government has learned divide and rule, and we have grown too peaceful. We should have been ever-alert. Back than there was no media to spread the government's voice far and wide, today there is. Become Khalsa urself, Bhindranwale sant said, and Khalistan will be made itself. Khalistan is presented as a terrorist agenda, the view is reinforced when u see Sikhs practising casteism etc.

what if democracy falls in hand of corrupt people ?

Then it'll become another demonocracy like India.

Imo, Khalistan's aim should be to be the best and freeist democracy in the eastern world. Then we can even show India, how it's done. Cause there is no good democracy in the east, (well maybe Japan...) but most democratic countries in the east are corrupt and have issues with minorities...
