(1) I followed this story with interest and I am shocked that 4 young men armed with a knife attacked a 78 year old man and didn't inflict further damage than has been mentioned. I find it deeply susp

story could be fake just too tarnish sikhs in uk like they have tried with sikhs in canada recently also could claim was attacked with kirpan

it seems dodgy as most sikh who know about 84 would not have let brar survive

Something about the way the story is being reported just doesn't sit right. Maybe we need some solid UK verification to substantiate all of this. Has a UK news agency investigated the story yet?

Good point about the kirpan.

Still, I thought Brar was dying of cancer. Maybe that was a lie too. Perhaps if people thought he was dying, it would discourage any attempts on his life.

Could be an attempt to tarnish Sikhs. It seems a bit like when the Air India story broke, lots of conflicting information, some news states he is ok and will go home tomorrow , then others say he is seriously injured.
