Well you can ask his students about it like a true researcher than researcher with bias.. It's already confirmed with gyani inderjit singh ji bhindranwale and i personally confirmed with sant hari singh ji randhawale...sunny_love kirtan member has a recording of it...you can confirm with any of his senior students including- bhagat jaswant singh ji and sant mohan singh bhindranwale...onus is on you guys- who use taksal mahapursh as token to pick and choose stuff..!! How bloody convenient..!!

Students and Teachers have different opinions. Hari Singh Randhawa is very anti meat whereas you claim Older Taksali Singhs had no issue with it. Now who is picking and choosing?

You are under the impression that Vikaarn limits Gurbani, It doesn't. Viakaarn is just there just like Siharis and Biharis are in Gurbani, Grammar too is part of Gurbani. Everyone uses grammar, ਭਗਤ means Bhagat i.e. Devotee while ਭਗਤਿ with a siharee means Bhagtee i.e. devotional worship. I learned this from a Sampardaic source. This is Grammar. Gurbani is not limited to grammar. Gurbani is limitless.

Sorry it seems like the unicode is not working properly on this Forum.

Your point of Vedas and Avtaars is a whole different story and I don't really want to get into useless debates as we know both of our opinions aren't going to change. I in no way can believe Krishan is God and is in Sach Khand, you on the other hand of no issue in believing that. I don't have the time or patience to discuss this. And Yes I have listened to Sant Gurbachan Singh's katha and no where has he said that Krishan is not God and is not in Sach Khand, in fact he has said that Krishan did not find God's end.

If Sant Jagjit Singh believes that Krishan is in Sach Khand and you want to believe that then feel free. I have a lot of respect for Sant Jee he is a Bhagat and does a lot more Bhagtee then I can ever even dream of.

Actually grammar in a way does limit gurbani because there are tuks where if grammar is not employed then the tuk has another meaning, which is also in line with gurmat. However if one only looks through the lens of grammar then that beautiful meaning will be missed out so therefore making grammar a limitation. But in no means am I saying that learning grammar is wrong but it is still a limitation - think about it putting grammar rules to turki bani (unlimited bani) is always causing some sort of limitation.

Please don not talk about meat it is against forum guidelines. Krishna has obtained sackhand as he has received naam from guru nanak dev ji.

We do not impose these rules on Gurbani. The rules are already within Bani. Sri Guru Arjan Dev Jee Mahraj when compiling Aad Beerh created a numbering system is this a limitation on Bani? It is a way for mistakes and Kachi Bani to be easily recognized.

There is nothing wrong with mentioning meat in a discussion, this is not a debate about Meat.

Prove that Krishan received Naam from Guru Nanak Dev Jee.

No you are not understanding what I mean. Yes the rules must have been there so some sort of system could be followed but the rules are still a limitation like I described above, especially when looking at the meanings of tuks at different angles.

Well if you read the bhagvad gita in detail and speak to scholars who have also studied it - it shows how krishna did know naam but I don't want to get into this as it requires a massive write up. Well from what you are writing it seems that you believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that the bhagats (prior to 1469) were waiting in karam khand before guru sahib gave them entry to sachkand? So prove this.

Show me where he spoke against dal panth maryada of jhatka..he would never just like his teacher or other taksal had no issue with nihang dal panth jhatka maryada...He debated with inderjit ghagha regarding meat..that needed to be done..rightly so..even dal panth does not agree with missionary style - eat meat from punjabi jhatka shops or kfc restaurant etc..As far as i know baba hari singh randhawale close relative is nihang singh dal panthi. Kam1825 member on here is a student of sant hari singh ji..may be he could shed some more light on this and overall topic.

Many times in his Katha he has spoken against meat. I don't have the exact kathas memorized. He has said many times that jhatka is wrong as well. He said doesn't matter how you cut the head off its still wrong and against Gurmat. Even Thakur Singh Patiala has recently said that Nihangs doing Jhatka is wrong.

I got to have sangat of Sant Hari Singh this past summer in east london. Many times in Katha he said meat and jhatka is wrong. A singh from the sangat asked Sant ji in his room if jhatka at hazoor sahib is correct he said its manmat and put forth evidence including a historical document he has found on how it was introduced. I dont want to debate anything as i have been to hazoor sahib and dont like to dwell on controversional points.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
