In the end of his letter, Niddar Singh writes that he has been at the gurdwara for 8 years and never caused any trouble but this is not the point.

The sangat is not objecting to teaching martial arts but views and parchar that he does. To slander Shaheeds like Bhai Fauja Singh ji and panthic organisations like AKJ and Damdami Taksal is unacceptable.

It is fine to disagree and argue but the language used on the websites is not right and the Sikh Sangat will not allow a person to write such things and also do seva at Gurdwara Sahib.

Great work veer Taran Singh jeeo, your efforts have paid off, hopefully the Gurdwaras will keep the bans in place.

Also thanks to the Gurdwara committees that have taken swift action against Niddar Singh. We must send make Gurdwara committees aware, all we need to do is provide the material on the websites.

The attacks on Singh Sabha movement by these new Indian Nihangs is deeply offensive. all nihang are not wrong, you know Shaheed avtar singh brahma is a true nihang, he punished many enemies of khalsa panth, baba nihal singh harian welan is also a nihang, and he faught for free the gurughar from mahants, and 11 nihangs were shaheed in this , it is true sometime some people do wrong,

i've listen to his koorh parchar and it's just laughable but you'd be surprised how many ppl will be influenced with what he says...why? Because he has the roop of a Gursikh. I met afew individuals that went to his talks in London at the Golden Temple exhibition...they left very confused and felt that clearly Sikhs are Hindu's.

They presented his points to a Gursikh i know and he ripped each point of Niddars to shreads.

Point being, he looks like an Amritdhari and new comers will beleive him, hence why it's vital correct parchar is done...to allow him to go unchallenged will be more dangerous in the long run. Things left unchallenged will bite you back in the long run.

We need to be on the look out if some of the others in Niddars group also bad mouth shaheeds and promote their own ideology.

This class is being taught by a student of Nidar Singh and only Shastar Vidiya is taught to the children so that they can defend themselves, their honour and increase their self confidence. If Sikhs wish to retain their art, it must be passed on to the children, it is being offered openly to the youth should they wish to learn.

Rather then try to bann it, why not come down and have a look? See what is taught, see what the kids and their parents think, and see what you are trying to bann through hate, fear mongering and lies.

veerji i ahve no problem with children being taught self defence, it is a must in todays day and age. However learning 'arts' of people who say sikhi is part of the wider hindu community, people who spew venom against our shaheeds, who mix and twist gurbani to meet their own needs, people who disrespect our gurus and what they stood for, peoplw who say its ok to drink alcohol, eat meat, take drugs, sleep around......are NOT people that we should have around our children! I dont care if its nangs student teaching, they all learnt off nang, they will all spew the same venom......keep away sadh sangat....
