PRRAKASH OF SRI DASAM GRANTH?

Recommended Posts

What i meant was that

in the wording Sri Guru Dasam Granth ji or sometimes it is mentioned Sri Dasam Guru Granth Sahib ji

that Guru Dasam or Dasam Guru refer to the 10th master. so the title means the Granth of the 10th Guru

and Gurta Gaddi was given to Aad Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji in 1708. Mate can u reread my post a bit more carefully.

The post is about prakash of Sri Guru Dasam Granth Sahib ji if it was about Sri Sarbloh Granth Sahib ji, the advice would have bee the same.

I think its best to just call it Sri Dasam Granth Sahib and avoid any confusion. Some people just pick on small things like calling it Sri Dasam Guru Granth. Just avoid the unnecessary trouble and just call it Sri Dasam Granth. Of course I don't have any issues with calling it Dasam Guru Granth either.

Gurta gaddi wasnt given to Aad Granth Sahib in 1604 but Guru Arjan dev ji still did Chaur sahib, hukanmma was still taken and The Aad Granth Sahib was praksahed where Guru Sahib would have sat and the resting place was guru sahibs own aasan.

So how is doing chaur sahib on Sri Guru Dasam Granth Sahib ji wrong?

(Guru Dasam = Guru Gobind singh ji)

To the orginal poster, keep the same satkaar for Sri Guru Dasam Granth Sahib ji as you would for Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji.

Prakash of Sri Guru Dasam Granth Sahib ji is in the hazoori of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. The same way Guru Roop Panj Pyare are in the amrit sanchaar.

Sree Guru Granth Sahib was destined for Gurgadhi. Hence, the respect from Guru Arjan Dev Sahib.

In Patna Sahib they never do chaur, hence I said what I said.

No need to churn self innovated controversies here.

Thats the first i heard that they never do chaur at patna sahib. I dont really believe u unless u show me evidence. Tbh even if u did i would say they should do chaur sahib there.

At Hazoor sahib, taksal and nihung singhs chaur sahib is done.

Im leaving at that and not going to comment further, i know that u dont believe that the same respect shouldnt be given to Sri Guru Dasam Granth Sahib ji as is to Sri Guru granth Sahib ji. Its up to the original poster what level of sharda he/she has on Guru Gobind Singhjis Bani to decide how/she should do prakash. He/she has heard from all sides

Request to mods to close thread

thank you

We all know about the history behind Siri SatGuru Granth Sahib Ji and abit about Sri Dasam Granth and how it was compiled too.

However, apart from a few jathedhars like santa (traitor-indra's poodle) singh saying Siri SatGuru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaaj wrote Sarbloh Granth, what other evidence is there that SatGuru Ji indeed wrote it?

I first heard about this granth about 10 years ago, infact, it was on a snatan sikhism website I saw them mention it, however regarding its history, can anybody share any information please?

Are there any english translations around?

vaheguru ji ka khalsa, vaheguru ji ki fateh

What evidence you have that Guru sahib did not write it. Sikhs know all along that there

is sarbloh granth. They have been reading shabd from it

Khalsa mera roop hai khas

Khalsa mein hau karoh niwas

Sri sarab loh granth

Get some knowledge about sikhi before faulting sikh history.

I don't have no evidence, I never claimed I had any!!! I was asking if anybody can shed some light on this.

when did I fault sikh history.

I did however call the good for nothing,Santa Singh a poodle of Indra Ghandi. A Traitor, who should never have been allowed back into the panth.

I did say that.

Santa singh repented and was allowed rejoin panth. Whose stooges Ragi darshan and his promoter sarna are along with anti sikh sect of missioanries. They are definitely cronies of congress.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
