Timeout Issue

Fateh Everyone,

We have been working for over the past few weeks, pretty much everyday to sort out the timeout issue. With the help of forum software provider, we have applied few fixes. Hopefully these will fix the issue of timeouts when new topic were being created.

If you experience this issue still or any other issues, please let us know.

There's a problem when you submit topics and when you make posts it's quite slow to refresh and take you to the page where your post is made so many people reclick it a lot.

When I make a post I just hit 'Post" and then close a tab and reopen a new one because that's faster than waiting for it to refresh the page.

Post should be ok as the, post button gets hidden once you click. I will look at the new topic creation. However I am hoping the new patch has fixed these issues.

Fixed yayy.. On my end there is no timeout issue while posting new topics.

Yes, but the new topic creation takes atleast 30 seconds. I will raise it with Invision.

is there a word limit on posts? I put a lot of Gurbani on this thread and it timed out and now the thread no longer opens (500 internal server error)

that topic has been deleted. which is why you are seeing the error.

Surely deleting a topic on homosexuality is a bit harsh, what message does that send out? Taboo for Sikh Sangat?
