Mini minded pathetic people expect to guilt trip others regarding the Shaheedià of our Sahibzadhe..............

1984

30,000 Sikhs massacred 350,000 homeless and destitute..........ENJOY BANDI CHHOR DIVAS EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!

The irony of the fireworks is again beyond me.

Bhul chuk maaf kardeyo ji

A Sikh celebrating another religion's holiday cannot be compared to a Sikh celebrating a holiday related to his Guru.

If you are putting Christmas on par with a holiday related to the Guru by comparing the two it only reflects your state of mind. A Sikh is a Jeev Istri whose husband lord is the SatGuru. What kind of an istri celebrates the birthday of another person's husband? such a flirtatious istri has no respect in this world nor in the next.

Bhaiji

Was reading all posts before leaving a reply, but read yours and realised that the sound of a hammer hitting a nail smack bang on the head was definitely heard loud and clear.

There is a strong nazi mentality among apparent Gursikhs frequenting this forum.

Sikhi is love.

If you can't debate whilst remaining respectful and tolerant then you've lost the point. There is no history of Sikhs attacking or injuring anyone for mere verbal disrespect, Prithi Chand...Dhir Mal anyone????

If your faith in the TRUTH is as strong as you say....then live and let live.....Sikhi in a nutshell.

Just ask Bhai Pinderpal Singh Ji why he doesn't involve himself in such antiSikh nonsense.

End of.

"Jonny"

Here are both quotes.

Please highlight the relevance of yours to these.

If your post, where you twist Bhai Hazoor's simple logic into one involving devi and stuff seems relevant then maybe we should cease quoting each other and simply create the posts we want to reply to.

Your post is conjured up nonsense that offends and enrages, as it was said or suggested by NO ONE except you.

If I ignored it then so be it.

But if flashing it before me makes your ego happy then knock yourself out.

There is clearly a group of fanatical immature children engaging people without Satkar or hint of Satkar, who are so clearly egotistical that they seem unable to comprehend (I love this word now lol) that anyone other than them could have even a remote understanding of Gurmat. Gyan comes not from Gurbani alone but from Gurbani and life experience. Hence the essentiality of Ghristi jivan.

Mahapursh??

Maybe in a few Jhoons. Maybe.

Bhul chuk maaf kardeyo

Quote my post!!!!!

Quote my post where I have compared Sikhi to ANYTHING at all!!!!!!!

Christmas or otherwise.............

Any comparison........

Your imagination like that of your little cohorts has your emotions in a jumble.

Read anything you like but comprehension is a gift. Maybe some true christian will get it for you at christmas......

FOR THE RECORD

I DO NOT AND NEVER HAVE CELEBRATED ANY FESTIVAL RELATED LOOSELY OR FIRMLY WITJ ANY RELIGION OTHER THAN SIKHISM. I AM HOWEVER A GURSIKH WHO FIRMLY BELIEVES IN CHARASI LAKH JHOON AND ACCORDINGLY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO ISSUE WHATSOEVER WITH ANY PERSON CLAIMING TO BE A SIKH WHO ENJOYS THE WINTER PERIOD FOR ITS COMMUNITY SPIRIT. IF THAT INCLUDES A CHRISTMAS TREE THEN SO BE IT. AS LONG AS I AM NOT ASKED OR PRESSURED INTO PARTAKING IN SUCH ACTIVITIES OR THESE ACTIVITIES ARE NOT ATTEMPTED TO BE JUSTIFIED THROUGH GURMAT THEN I CONSIDER IT NONE OF MY BUSINESS.

If there is anyone on this forum who will show me a post contrary to the sentiments stated above I will apologise in person and accept the punishment that that Gursikh suggests.

NOW FOR THOSE WHO HAVE MISSPOKEN.

REREAD MY OR YOUR OWN AND ASK YOURSELVES WHAT YOU ARE ARGUING ABOUT. WHAT AXE DO YOU HAVE TO GRIND AGAINST FEEBLE GURSIKHS LIKE ME AND THE OTHER UNFORTUNATES LIKE ME??

Bhullà sab tò hòjandià ne parh saadià baksh deyo ji

Jivan ji

I thought you had quit the forum as written in another thread. It is good to see you again.

Bhaiji Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa

Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

I was thinking the same right now lol.

Your final reply gave me the strength.

There are many fools here that demand from others the things they are not capable of themselves!!!

Gurbani will give us mukhti.

But gyan is something these fools are incapable of comprehending.

Bhaiji GPS i've not been a member of this forum long but feels like all i've been doing is defending a position that I haven't actually taken lol.

I wouldn't want my kid to feel confused and left out while everyone, including non-SIkh Punjabis celebrating a holiday while they aren't.

How difficult is for you to make your kid understand that Sikhs do not celebrate Christmas?

There are a million other ways to celebrate a holiday other than aping other cultures.

How difficult is it for you to be creative and not sacrifice Gurmat and still celebrate the holidays? Also, if you didn't read my post, who's to say we can't change Christmas to Sikhmas?

Is that anti-Gurmat? :lol2:

We have got heaps of our Purabs to celebrate. We do not need others' celebrations to turn them into our celebrations.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
