My ears hurt

ChuckSinghNorris Jee,

The surface nerves on the skin of your ears are probably a little inflamed too so everytime you wear your turban/keshkee/dumalla etc it hurts and makes it worse from what I can gather. So the long term cure would be to take a declofenac sodium tablet 50 mg every 8 hours continously for a week. You could top that up with 2 paracetamols every now amd then too. This would then get rid of the inflammation and your nerves will settle and the pain would go. However, declofenac sodium 50mg in the UK has to be prescribed by your GP and you can tell him what I said and he would give it to you. You do not really need to make a same day appointment by ringing at 8a.m in the morning but just leave a message at your local clinic you are registered with, for the doctor to call you back on your mobile. Always drink some milk or have a meal before declofenac sodium. Alternatively your GP might prescribe you Naproxen 500mg which is taken one, twice a daY after a meal. You can discuss the merits of both of these powerful anti inflammatories and painkillers(both non drowsy) with your GP.

For the next few weeks wear a keshkee( if you do use one), not covering your ears and if you need to cover your ears for turban etc then be loose around the ears not tight and carry that little metal pencil like thing(I forgot the name) which is used to push hair back into the turban and release pressure wherever it is pressing too tight.

I hope that helps.

wrap the first larr under the ears. the next one over the ears. fold the fabric so that the lowest part of the larr is not the edge, but is rather a fold. you don' t need to fold the fabric fully, just fold it up a bit. in this way, the edge won't be biting into your ear. as you wrap the larr around your head stretch it just the tiniest little bit, but not too much. this way it will be snug but not too tight, and it will be comfortable.
