It's great to see 3-4 organisations (the gurdwara, two channels and the Federation) get into such a fuss about promoting one event and a £200 advertising budget. It gives me a lot of hope for how an independent Sikh nation would be governed.

Not sure, what you are on about.

Promo shown on both channels was very successful in promoting the ISSUE.

Not sure what you mean by the £200 advertsing budget? £500 was donated to each of the Sikh TV channels by the Sikh Federation (UK) Slough Branch. Gurdwara paid for adverts in Punajbi newspapers and Sikh Federation (UK) arranged for Ajit to cover the event.

Most disappointing that the Sikh Channel has not even started the scroll, let alone produce and show a Promo. Initially the Sikh Channel confirmed it would start the scroll on the evening on Friday

Event was a huge success. Certain Committee members were insistent on not letting one Singh speak, which was a shame.

  Thanks for this. It combines the four approved sources (Guru Granth Sahib ji, Dasam Granth Sahib, Bhai Gurdas ji (both Vaar and Kabitt), and Bhai Nand Lal ji in one place. The English translation is the Sant Singh Khalsa and the Punjabi is the Principal Sahib Singh. These aren't that great, but at least they are better than some even worse ones floating around these days.
