Not if the Russians decide to kick in the door again. Or if Syria falls to the jihadists.

The Sikhs dont even own the land. It'll end in tears, mark my words.

Dalsingh,

I see you take the word of a few homeless guys saying they own so and so acres of land in Punjab and yet you don't see contradiction that they only need to contact back home and an acre of land sold off would get them about £20k. Maybe you should continue your education in Punjabi by finding out what the Punjabi word for gullible is!

This is just a rerun of the Terai when Sikh farmers were allowed to clear jungle and malerial swamps to turn into productive farmland and then this was grabbed by the government using the excuse that the land had never been registered to them!

There have been stories like these of Sikh farmers going to countries as diverse as Ethiopia, Uganda and even Ukraine in the last few years. The land will never be owned by them and once it become productive it will be seized off them.

If that happens then these people only have themselves to blame. Even the Georgian diplomats are insinuating they be cautious.

'The money the farmers make overseas is often sent back to buy land at home, contributing to the rise in prices that forced them to leave in the first place. Georgian officials in India say the new arrivals may be disappointed.'

That pretty much sums up how stupid this whole idea is.

It has happened in Gujarat. Sikh farmers cultivated land that nobody else wanted. They made crops grow where no one else could. Then Modi's govt. took out a court order to freeze their land holdings.

Why are Gujarat's borders closed to Sikhs, when Punjab's borders are open to everyone?

Maybe you're in denial yourself. We KNOW a few of the families that have come here from back home, FROM BACKHOME, who started doing construction work with relatives here before they struck out on their own. So the idiotic notion you have of me walking around swallowing every piece of bull from self-aggrandising hogis is another classic 'duhhh!' thing from you.

I'm not denying a few of the jat wannabe builder freshies are poor back home, but your the one who is not in the know, if you think that that type even represents a majority. Or maybe it's because you only rub shoulders with the brokest types of jat, and I meet lots of a different category? Connected, affluent ones, who can afford to pay big money and do all sorts of dodgy things to get their family over - like representing a brother's son as their own etc.

So I have my own personal experiences, we have people who've openly exposed the situation like in the video I posted, but you still have your head stuck in cuckoo land. Best of luck too you. Either you're a mug, or you're selling your own bull to the gullible to try and get sympathy for your own people?

Who knows? Who cares.....

That's because Sikhs have a blinkered view of the world. It's not just our own lot who screw us over and take advantage. The Gujis/everyone else do it because they know they can get away with it. It's not like Badal's goverment are going to protest to the Gujis to reverse what they've done and do something if they dont. Like confiscate Guji owned land or businesses in EP and give them to the dispossesed as compensation and then fill up some trucks with waste and dump it on the Guji farms that have been stolen.

If Sikhs didnt let people mess with us, they wouldnt.

Yeah you right. People take advantage of our kindness.

Although, we did fight back in the 80's. We just too small a minority. Nobody is doing parchar to increase our numbers. We just keep dividing ourselves up into factions. The other day I read about a Sehajdhari Sikh party running against Akali Dal. LOL. We just keep slapping ourselves.

It was pure bezhti. Sikhs exploiting Sikhs.

From brothels to smuggling criminals across the EU, injecting drugs in garages to time spent in prison for stabbings, apnay bandey are at the forefront. So much so, that the BBC felt it warranted an investigation.

Nevermind, lets all sing "Saddi rees kaun karloo, sanu rabb ne banaiya maharaje" & "Punjabia di torr vakhri" - yes it is 'vakhri'. We all saw that for ourselves.

I've always known it was bad. But now I'm lost for words.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
