Pizza in Gurdwara Langar : Acceptable ?

not that much a fan of pizza but i got to say its all about the PASTA! especially when made desi sabji style by the auntya.....

Well bacteria isn't an animal. Yes its a living organism but it doesn't feel pain. Well it doesn't feel anything, it lacks a nervous system and brain. There are 5 types of living organism in this world: plant, animals, prokaryots (which includes bacteria), fungi and protostista. Bacteria belong to a different type of life form to animals, they're no more an animal than a fungus or a plant is. Besides you can't avoid them. They're everywhere.

Interesting response. I work in the food industry, more specifically in the bio analysis of food. I've always been intrigued regarding where things stand from a Sikh point of view.

Not sure my local gurughar pushes the boat out that much when making pizzas; mozarella is a luxury around these parts, lol. I think grated cheddar is as good as it gets around here.

I never said i was a sausage eater. But if it was in langr i wud hav it as the blessed food. On a pija or on its own. Maybe wit sum beans on the side. . Thanks for the bacteria info i nd that for biology!
