Sant Fateh Chand Head of Damdami Taksal

I recently saw an old copy of Baba Gurbachan Singh's "Gurbani Path Darpan" in which it had the lineage of the Damdami Taksal Jathedars and i was surprised to find in the lineage, name of a Singh who's name was Sant Fateh Chand. i thought maybe it was a mistake that they forgot to print Singh after the name, but as i did more research i found that indeed his name was Sant Fateh Chand. i came across another source The encyclopedia of Sikhism in which it also has the lineage of the Jathedars and it shows that baba ji's name written without the Singh.

Does anyone have anymore information if its true that baba ji didnt take Amrit and why. Or are the sources wrong.

Bhai Nand Lal ji took Amrit but we still call him that mistakenly without adding the Singh.

Same with Bhai Kanaiya Ji

If you read 'khalsa jivan' by sant kartar singh ji bhindranwale, it says that sant fateh chand became sant fateh singh after taking amrit. So they were a nirmala sant who took khande ki pahul and became Sant Fateh Singh Ji

Bhai sahib is it mentioned in khalsa jivan' by sant kartar singh ji bhindranwale that baba ji took Amrit then later on he became jathedar.

yes e.g. a dera not head or mukhi of the whole of taksal
