why guruji didn't combine guru granth sahib ji and dasam granth ji?

Recommended Posts

The dasam granth wasn't put together until many years later by Bhai Mani Singh.

The jagdi jyot of Guruship was in the Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji as it had started with Guru Nanak Dev ji and this is why he declared it the 'Shabad Guru'.

It's got nothing tp do with his marji as stated above !!

That is a poor answer for a strong religion!!

Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and Sri "Dasam Guru" Granth sahib are two side of same coin...

Sri Guru granth sahib ji is for all, for all humans from all walks of life, is shabad guru an spiritual guide for all human whereas Sri "Dasam Guru" Granth sahib Ji never meant to be raw spiritual granth but social life granth along with spirituality as you have below:

Within the Dasam Guru Durbar, there can be found three main types of scripture:
1. 'Amrit Mai Bani' (translates as 'Immortal scripture'). This is type of scripture talks of spiritual matters only like the Adi Guru Durbar.
2. 'Yudh Mai Bani' (translates as 'War scripture'). This type of scripture talks of warfare that is in the most part mythological, however, in 'Bachitter Nattak', the Guru tells of his own battle experiences.
3. 'Sansar Mai Abbeck dee Bani' (translates as the 'worldly scripture of Ignorance')

see above, maskeen ji provides simple yet great explanation. The reason for why SDG was not inserted into the great 11th master can be mainly due to the composition/type/meaning of the banis. Whereas the great 11th king houses 1430 limbs of praise of the almighty and gives the characteriscs/qualtites of God, the SDG handles the translation of hindu mythalogy, an autobiography of the great 10th master, and praise of the Khalsa etc.

Guest dasguruka

just begin curious no evil will

any mahapurash bachan regarding this?

thanks in advance

Khalsa Ji, Guru Granth Sahib Ji only and only praises Naam and Naamis. Sri Dasam Granth Sahib also mentions of Akal Purakh but it also gives specific tools to Khalsa. Guru Ji added banis like Chaubis Avtaar so that His Khalsa wouldn't need to go ask other people about the history. He added Charitropakhyan (might be off on spelling) so His Khalsa stays alert of the wickedness of both men and women that bring down a person. They're both needed but they excel separately in their own ways. Imagine having an Akhand Paath with both of them combined! Oh that would be a work in its own. Moreover, I believe each letter and each word placed in Guru Granth Sahib in its own respective place has its own significance.

Instead of combining the two there was once a time in history where they actually tried to divide Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Ji so that Charitropakhyan would be separated but instead Sukha Singh and Mehtab Singh successfully killed Massa Rangar...if they had failed then Sri Dasam Granth would have been divided.

didnt they put it together when nitnam bania was given to the panth..............................

I'm not too sure or heard that anywhere.

The problem has always been the controversy and acceptance of the FULL Dasam Granth.

We have had countless people throughout the times arguing about it's authenticity !

Some Tat khalsas just want to stop at when the Adid Granth was declared the eternal Guru, they won't accept or acknowledge anything that was put together after like the Dasam Granth !

I always wonder what these so called Tats, actually read for nitnem ??

The problem for the acceptance of dasam granth has not always been there. This is more of a post 1947 era problem. Before 1947 we had the bhasaurias questioning some portions of dasam granth, after 47 we had ambala but like jaggee he too accepted his mistake and eventually became a dasam granth supporter. In our times we now have the kala afghanists.
