In case of Bhai Rajoana, All the death sentences in butcher's killing were converted in Life imprisonment, legal expert in a interview said his death sentence should be converted in life imprisonment because other accused's sentences were reduced there is some sort of ruling of supreme court.

Mehtab Singh makes some interesting points. But remember these points are valid in a logical country... India may not follow this logic... There's nothing stopping these Singhs dying in mysterious circumstances and the GOI claiming accident/suicide... It's happened enough times before.

Quite optimistic views by Mehtab Singh Jee, and I wish things happen this way, but please remember, last time Punjab protests, an innocent Amrit Dhari Sikh was butchered by Badal group's police actions (firing), Bandar Sena holligon's creating hell lot of mess. There has been no justice for that young Bhai Jaspal Singh, just 18-19 years old.

In my opinion we should not resort to violence if bhai balwant singh jee is executed, God willing this will not happen and bhai balwant singh jee is released soon.

We saw the preview of the film of what happens if Singhs resort to protests and violence - shaheedi of bhai jaspal singh jee.

Remember, Sumedh Saini is the Director General of Police, this person was put in place by Badal sarkar.

This is why we have be smart, using arms to fight against injustice always has a time and place. Using violence could backfire and result in deaths of many naujwaan (youth), we cannot go through this again.

I know as Khalsa we do not hesitate to take arms to fight injustice but the world we live in is very strange, the corrupt leaders now have immense power and weapons like never before. What can we do in the world of fighter jets, laser guided bombs, nuclear weapons......................

All Panthic jathebandis need to get together and form a plan but this is unlikely, when was the last time this took place.

Our Jathedar Sahibaan need to take action NOW for example if Indian government decides to set a date fore execution of either Bhai Bhullar jee or Bhai Rajoana jee then Punjab government should call a "Bandh" - (stop all trade and business with rest of India) - this have huge consequences because Punjab is bread basket of India.

It is time to put faith in Akaal Purakh to give us buddhi (intellect) and shakti (power) to be able to overcome our enemies. Only way is to become stronger in Rehit and increase abhiyaas of Gurbani and Naam.

Satguru Mehar Karan.

LOL, that is very true. I might be thinking too much of an ideal world.

Another good point. They can go around shooting anyone under the garb of "maintaining law and order".

I agree Mehtab singh's points are too idealistic and follow too much logic, the 2 things unheard of in the indian politics and law. Although I feel they will defer Rajoana's death penalty as the recent protests were too global and recent.

Also the Hindu majority right now is way more anti-muslim than anti-SIkh. When a muslim is hanged by the sarkar, that pleases Hindus way more than when a Sikh is hanged( in terms of vote-bank politics). Congress just didnt want BJP to make not hanging of Afsal guru a political agenda.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
