Few questions about Rehet

Recommended Posts

Man, I'm completely innocent here, as I had no idea and no one ever said !!!

I've just been flushing it away at home and in the gym after I shower, I may use their bins !!

Am I the odd one or the minority here ???

well , its not bad as it goes down after taking bath , as you cannot gather those hair .

but do not throw them away , patshahi 10vi di mohar hai

This is what I do.

yea - been gathering it in different bag . didnt wanted to use bin for that

before tying turban i place hazuria on lap

so i can collect them all and no strand of hair touches feet

Oh No, No one has ever told me this !

It's going to be on my conscious now !!

Well if you haven't thrown them away, then you should put them in flowing water if nearby.

How many of us actually do this ??

Is it a high number ?

Waheguru ji, the murda hair that comes out after u comb your hair is what I was meant by it. Because we are supposed to do upmost satkaar of hair, we dont throw them in garbage. We are suppose to do an ardaas and do sanskaar - with fire. Guru Sahib made kes in such way that if u cut it, it comes back,if you throw them in water, still they will be in perfect form, if they remain for years, nothing will happen to them. So it's better to do sanskaar with fire in such way. Many people say do jal parvaah - flow them away with water, but still they will remain in the ocean.

There is a story about a Gursikh who used to collect any small hair he sees on the ground and put it in his pocket, for satkaar.
