you can ask any shop over there about taksali shop

or you can goto Mehta for Damdami Taksal's shop over there.

no idea about ludhiana , there are a lot of clothes shops

Fot shasters near Ludhiana go to village Rattowal, half way along the Ludhiana-Raikot road (its a turning just a couple of villages past Jodhan village). The village is famous for making shasters in small cottage industry forges, all hand made. You can buy ready made from the workshops or commission an order. Its not far from Ludhiana and easy for a local driver to get to. They make good quality steel shasters using traditional skills and methods. I think they also do sarbloh on request. What I particularly liked were the miyans - nice wood with kadhai work and no leather outer casing, so the workmanship of the miyan is given particular attention rather than being an after-thought.

Do they use a bolt near the pommel?Do they also have leather myans?
