Throw it in the garbage just like how hair goes in the garbage then get a new one. People who can't use basic logic like this OP are prone to following babay. You should be able to use your own brain and not come on a forum to ask about some ritual you need to do or something. Sikhi is a way of life not a variation of HInduism. It is so sad how prevalent the Hindu thinking process is in our "sikh" brothers. Like everything else, why not go check if there is some katha about cremating your kanga.

That way you can justify it by claiming Baba or sant so and so said. :stupidme:

Maybe you shoulder reason why the police was after them in the first place.

Its your choice to follow or not follow. Personally ill follow the commands given to me in front of Guru Granth Sahib and If I fail to follow then ill go pesh and ask for strength so I wont make the same mistakes.

On top of my head I don't know exactly how many jathebandis follow it but Harman Singh Rampur Khere wale did sanskaar. I think Taksalis do it.
