Damascus Kirpans

Waheguru Ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Khalsa Ji,

We have produced handmade kirpans made from high quality damascus. They are very strong and have a double sided blade. The miyan is made from good quality walnut. Our aim is to arm the khalsa with good quality shasters at a reasonable price. We are based in the Midlands so if anyone is interested please p.m us and we can give details of where you can come and view the kirpans. We are not making any profit from these just trying to recuperate some of the money we have invested. At the moment we have got only 2 sizes, 7" and 10". We will be getting some 8" and 9" kirpans made in the future. Please take a look below.

The price for the 10" is £50 and the 7" is £40. We can sell the set for £80.

If this is Singhs kirpans in anadpur sahib i would strongley stay away, as they try and sell puratan kirpans that are clearly not puratan they have just been made to look it, when asked about it they lie to gursikhs to make a profit.

Also when asked if the kirpans they give can be sharpened there response was there is no need for it as if used it you would be arrested !!!

Bit of a funny place to shop would not buy and would advise everyone to stay away.

No bhai sahib this is not Singh's kirpans from Anandpur Sahib (never heard of them till now). We are from Wolverhampton. Also we are not selling puratan kirpans, they are new and these are very sharp so no need to get sharpened.

Commendable work! I just want to check whether this is damascus that you have yourselves forged, commercial damascus ingots (both of the latter work just as well), or acid etched 'damascus' (not good and the same stuff that Singh Shasters at Anandpur Sahib use - found out too late despite their assurences when questioned them)? What is the balance like (the point where the weight either side is 50:50)? Do they fit snugly in the miyan without slipping? Are they ready sharpened or need to be sharpened? Any chance of a roadshow to Gurudware outside the Midlands?.....sorry - lots of questions!

Gurfathe veerji

The balance is roughly 50:50. They do fit the miyan perfectly. You can hold the miyan upside down and the kirpan wont fall out. They are already really sharp so no need to sharpen. We will not be doing any roadshows as we are not selling for personal gain. You can come and view them in Wolverhampton. Please pm for details.
