Sorry going out of topic but want to say this....

Awesome thinking :) kaljugi :)

U know what inspite of all the equalities we talk about. ..... We know that loopholes r there

Being a female I accept that we r not equal to males n datz the truth....we r not....

Bcoz these differences r created by that divine power who made the world. ....

U said bcoz some females misuse their freedom dats y others who can use them in efficient manner do not get.... Same is the case with males.....even males misuse their freedom... But still all males have their freedom to do what they like....

Its the female body which makes her weak.... N even I sometimes think y there was partiality from almighty...if he wished he could have given mmuch more strength to women as compared to what she has today.....

I personally never faced these issue which made me low being female but when I look at other girls who suffers from discrimination...I feel bad..

But I don't knw people will believe or not...but when I think that my Guru is with me...there is some tremendous amount of energy which vibrates in me...which increases my strenght to max..n at that point of tym I feel that...my Guru is so powerful that his thought makes me a warrior....

Guru is a fantastic gift given to us by akal purakh..being born as his Sikhs....inspite of being queen...makes me to live a life of king......

je satgur pyara mere naal hai :)

Bibi Ji, I don't even reckon the word 'equality' is the right word to use when discussing such issues, because there can never literal equality between males and females due to, as one example you've given, the fundamental differences in biology between both sexes. Many others before me have stated the more accurate term to use would be 'fairness' and I do feel that's what is needed. Fairness on an emotional level (i.e. in the way we interact with each other) is essential.

and I have seen Viewpoint of Baptized Sikhs Maryada and I think people have made a lot of restrictions...To be Khalas does one only need to be baptized or should see His Deeds as well??

People nowadays say that an Amritdhari Sikh cant' eat or drink half eaten food or Water of other Guy who is not baptized....They can't hold anything where an Ordinary person has saliva touched there like Turban Cloack or wear same T-Shirts,Shirts ....Not even touch there Turban etc because they tell they are Khalsa

Now that seems to me like creating Inferiority in minds of others....

These restrictions should not have been made Otherwise a person would think 100 hundred times.... kehnde ne jhootha paani nahi peena hun dasso jhootha paani bande nu ki kahuga??Too much orthodoxism is throwing us...we are getting far from Reality and truth...Imagine A person just wearing a Kirpan does wrong Deeds and says he is Khalsa and doesn't drink Half eaten Food or left over water of others. Then what do u call that Person?????Any Replies please

and on one side people tell that Vegetarianism is promoted in Sikhism and on other side we see Nihangs going for Jhatka...What is happening in our Culture I really don't understand??

Nowadays Some Baptized Sikhs are eating Non-Veg as well.....On one side Gurbani tells that only fools argue on flesh and meat and on one side it tells

"all meat eaters will go to Hell

and what Islam and other religions like Christianity have different Views from us Even at time of there festive occasions they Eat beef or Meat. Some sect of Islam however do promote non-vegetarianism but mostly Christians and Muslims are non-vegetarians

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
