things havent changed. the rulers havent learned anything. under the garb of maintaining peace and order, previous govts and its agencies went to extreme un-peaceful methods. seems like badal and co want to go the same way.

"we will beat you, kill you or put you in prison to keep peace..."

these steps of <banned word filter activated> badal will give rise to more people like rajoana....

These are not any genuine Hindus, these are hired hooligons by Government (Both Central & state govt)., Punjab Police etc. under the organisation-name of Baandar Sena. Just look at their faces/profiles carefully, all of them have been deliberately put a TIKKA on forehead (just to portray they are Hindus, how clever, even if some of them might not be Hindus???), and all of them look uneducated/unprofessional/probably unemployed people hired for 100-200 Rs. per hour.

THAT's WHY NO POLICE ON THEIR PROTEST, BECAUSE THESE ARE HIRED HOOLIGANS OF GOVT. AND POLICE, NOT ANY GENUINE HINDUS OR ANY GENUINE HINDU ORGANISATION.

The protest by these hired hooligans on Wednesday/Thursday is a drama-organised by state/central govt. & Punjab Police to put an immediate ban on the movie (in the name of maintaining law & order, communal harmony) so their truth can not be exposed in front of Punjab Youth, but Sach vi kade chupda hai?

Genuine Hindus (I spoke to some of them today, they are Kattar Hindus, and they are my genuine friends for the past 25 yrs), all support release of this movie, and have the view, let the truth come out, what Punjab Police and Govt. did to our Sikh brothers from 1980 to 1995.

JADON SACHE BANDEYAN DI JHOOTIYAN ADALTAN CH UD JAAvE KHILLI,

DAB DE KILLI - SONEYAN, DAB DE KILLI - SAJNAN, DAB DE KILLI.

veerji u r right. even i know some of my family friends which had given protection to sikh during time of riots of 84

Have any of the Sant Samaj leaders spoken out against the ban of Sadda Haq? At present Simranjeet Singh Mann, Sikh Students Federation and Dal Khalsa have made public statements as far as I know. It would be good to see Sants and Babas, Nihangs come out in opposition to oppression as stated in the Sri Guru Granth sahib.

Doesn't SGPC have funds that could qualify to be put in the Swiss Bank? If they're openly supporting the movie, why can't they use those funds to (a.) just buy the movie rights from the producer(s) and distributor(s), (b.) pay a fat lump sum amount to the big cinema halls across Punjab and have them screen the movie, (c.) pay for private and armed security guards outside each of these halls (I am sure scores of Singhs would volunteer for this and not take a penny).

Problem is, sadde aaguaan di neeyat hi haraamkhor aa. Nahi te kee majaal eh kutteyaan di sena di jo is tra di film nu ban karva den. Look guys, the Shiv Sena is doing their job, they're clear who/what they are and what exactly they want. Problem is Sikh leadership. The same Badals have no problem giving siropa to the families of Shaheeds, and now the same people are banning movies on those Shaheeds? This is called double-standards! An honest enemy is much better than an ally who changes colors like a chameleon. Shiv Sena is a small threat, because we know what they are made of, and so we know how to watch out. The real danger is within our own lot who choose to side with us when it benefits them, and then when times change they ask us to shut up because they see their own position in danger.

How many people died in June 1984? Let me paste from http://www.sikhreview.org/june2000/chronicle.htm

According to the official White Paper, 493 terrorists were killed, 86 wounded and 1,592 apprehended during the Operation. These numbers add up to 2171, and fail to explain what happened to at least five thousand pilgrims who were trapped inside when the Operation began. The eye-witnesses claim that "7 to 8 thousand people were killed". Mark Tully estimates that approximately 4000 people may have died. Chand Joshi suggests 5000 civilian deaths.

Lets presume it was 10,000. Now how many died in November 1984? Lets say 30,000? How much is that, 40,000?

Now how many Sikhs were killed after 1984 under the government of Beant Singh and at the hands of Punjab Police led by KP Gill? Its a shocking 6-digit figure! Around 275,000 according to a number of human rights organizations.

I guess I don't need to repeat myself, the real danger is within our own lot.
