Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj righfully said "when an affair outstrips all machinations, it is legitimate to grip the hilt of the sword".. the only solution to this discrimination and oppression from the indian gov't is for all sikhs to grip the hilt of that sword and claim a revolution.. revolt all the jails where our beloved singhs are held and release them with force .. with the grip of the Khanda Sahib in our hands,. with teers in our hands to battle and fight anyone who comes in our way... create such an uproar that Delhi and Punjab sarkaar shakes at the might of the Sikhs.. thats what we need..UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL but then again, its easier said than done... it is unfortunate that 1984 and post-1984 has stirred fear in the hearts of the sikhs.. we've lost our dear friends and families in one way or the other.. people dont want to revolt they dont want to go against the govt they dont want to fight for justice and righteous as our dear Gurus taught us.. Miri Piri de Malik Guru HarGobind Ji rose an army against the Mughals when their father, Shaheedan De Sartaaj Guru Arjan Dev Ji attained Shaheedi at the hands of the Mughals... Our Dashmesh Pita rose up against the Mughals when their father Hind Di Chadar Guru Tegh Bahadhur Ji attained Shaheedi at the hands of the Mughals.. In fact, Guru Gobind Singh Ji sacrificed not only their father, but also their mother, Mata Gujri, and their four beloved sons for the sakes of Sikhi! Such example can be emphasized where the Guru chose his pyar for his Khalsa and his Sikhi over his pyar for his own family members! Unfortuantely, the Guru's example isnt there anymore.. THAT IS WHY IT IS SO EASY FOR THE INDIAN GOVT AND PUNJAB GOVT TO OPPRESS THE SIKHS!! because today, we have more pyar for our family members than for our Sikhi.. today we are afraid of loosing more family members.. even if one family member, rises and says he/she is going to revolt against the indian govt, their family members throu emotional blackmail will stop the person.. they will claim that since 1984, they've lost their son, uncle, grandfather, father.. their mother, daughter, aunt was raped etc.. and shed tears to stop that particular person from going ahead to revolt... if people can put their pyar for sikhi ahead of their pyar for their family members and follow the path shown to us by our Dashmesh Pita, then only can we revolt against such oppression and solve this issue once and for all..

if i have said anything wrong or hurt anyone, i beg your humble forgiveness.

RAJJ KAREGA KHALSA,

AAKHI RAVE NA KOI!

Akalis seek Germany’s intervention in Bhullar’s death sentence

GAURAV VIVEK BHATNAGAR

When Bhullar was extradited to India from Germany, it was assured that he would not be condemned to death

A delegation of Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) MPs and Delhi blast case convict Devinderpal Singh Bhullar’s wife Navneet Kaur have submitted a memorandum to the Political Councillor of the German Embassy here, seeking the European nation’s intervention in the matter of award of the death sentence to him.

Bhullar was extradited to India from Germany.

The delegation, led by the SAD (B)’s Delhi unit president Manjit Singh G.K., contended that the death sentence was “primarily based on a confession made by him in police custody.

The confession was extracted under torture and Bhullar had later retracted the statement in court,” it said adding the German Appeal Court had declared he should not have been deported.

Apart from SAD (B) youth wing president Manjinder Singh Sirsa and secretary Rajinder Singh, the delegation comprised a U.K.-based Barrister Satnam Singh Bains and human rights advocate from the U.K. Jaswant Kaur.

The memorandum noted that while Bhullar was convicted only for “abetment and conspiracy”, main accused Daya Singh Lahoria, was acquitted by the court.

The delegation pointed out that the Supreme Court had given a fractured verdict in the matter — Presiding Judge Justice M.B. Shah had acquitted Bhullar, while the other two judges of the Bench convicted him. Similarly, it said, the opinion of the judges was divided on the matter of the death sentence.

The memorandum said Bhullar was not in a fit state of mind and had been in a mental hospital for the last two years.

The Akalis called upon Germany to raise the matter with the Government of India and the President so that the clemency petition of Bhullar was accepted and he was not hanged.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
