Awesome. Makes you wonder where the £20 million (£30 million in todays money) ($47 million) went in the making of the rather bland Southall Gurdwara. But then again, when you remember how most of the money went to the firm of architects of which a daughter of a committe member is employed and who, incidentaly, is married to a white Christian, you get a good idea of why such a large amount of money was spent on a building worth a fraction of the price.

But this Gurdwara in Glasgow is awesome. Never had a reason to visit Scotland before but have now.

That's huge difference! Imagine with £30 million today how much more they could have build! Wonder how much that committee member's daughter got. I think she was the architect.

Beautiful but is this really necessary ? How many poor people across the world could this have helped (true meaning of sikhi) ?

How many other Gurdwaras does Glasgow have if its the only one then fine.

Look at other cities in the uk and the west, an example from Hockley, soho road to holyhead road Birmingham we have four or five if you count rookery road which is off soho road total about a 2 mile stretch approx why?

Guru jees house should be in top shape regardless of what goes around in our society. I don't agree with excessive expensive but 4 million pound (if that is true) for the gurdwara in the video is actually very much within the budget. Sleek rasoai !
