Akali dal secretary of that time hired one of the jatha member 'shinda' who killed bhai sodhi. Longowal protected that secretary after shinda admitted in public of akali dal's plan and hand in this backstabbing killing. Shinda and a lady who cooked false allegations on bhai sodhi were give quick justice by singhs. That secretary was also given justice few weeks later. This happened in april of 84 i believe. Sant jee turned table on akali dal soon after sodhi's killing and in my theory these akalis were scared and they ran to indira witch and within weeks we all saw army attack on our holy saackhand.

What is incredulous is that despite Longowal being labelled as the scum of the nation by Indra, his mug still graces the nation's stamps.

As per Rajiv-Longowal act (dually signed by longowal and rajiv), center govt' suppose to transfer Chandigarh to Punjab and they never did..

In one interview they asked this why they never kept word on the act? Rajiv said.. Longowal is not here anymore (dead) so no deal. What kind of government or sane person says such things. When you sign the pact or act then you are legally liable to follow that written promise etc.. Duality !
