In puratan times, mahapursh in form of panj pyares or panj pyares mukhi in role of bhai dya singh ji were easily available for advice, consultation, available for mentor type relationship to help sikhs in the journey..We all need reality check slaps right, left and center from time to time, thats why its very important to keep going to panj pyares or panj pyara mukhi in role of bhai dya singh - for sangat for help with journey, consultations regarding personal problems, if mistakes occur pesh/re-take amrit again.

These days singhs who take role of panj pyares should also do more - making themselves available for consultation, advise, spiritual therapy help etc.

You are 100% spot on brother, he is our father after all and loves us, no loving parent would hurt their child and will always forgive them, it is a shame we children cant love our parents like they love us and let them down sometimes.
