New Delhi Municipal Corporation Raises Objection On 1984 Sikh Genocide Memorial Inside Gurdwara Rakab Ganj

New Delhi Municipal Corporation has raised an objection on 1984 Sikh Genocide Memorial inside Rakab Ganj Gurdwara.

The corporation pasted a notice on Gurdwara complex gate opposite parliament house objecting over 4 feet high brick platform constructed to be unveiled on June 12 as foundation stone of the memorial.

Manjit Singh GK, president Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, says, "The committee would go ahead with the plan of constructing the memorial."

Things are going the right direction in the Panth with the building of these memorials. And Sikh bodies need to call it exactly what it is, genocide, because that's exactly what it was no matter how much they will pretend it was not.

while the whole Panth is coming in support of the memorial in Delhi, but the Kala Afghanist leader Sarna opposes it since his bosses in the congress party don't want Sikhs to remember what happened in 84. Shame on Kala Afghanists and Missionaries.

“Those killed inside the Golden Temple during Operation Bluestar were martyrs as they died for a cause. In Delhi thousands of Sikhs were murdered. They are not martyrs. So constructing a memorial on the premises of Gurdwara Rakabganj Sahib is not right,” Sarna said.

I think Sarna might be looking for a gold memorial, if they make a gold memorial and not a simple stone/marble memorial, Sarna will be happy. He just loves too much gold.
