We don't subscribe to what you see as "idol worhsip". Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee is our Guru. We do utmost Satkar of Guru Jee and we make no apologies about it. Sikhs have been following a Maryadha for the upkeep of the sroop of Guru Granth Sahib jee for hundreds of years. Guru Jee is not some book that we put on a shelf. Doing Satkar of Guru Jee is our is our Farz(duty)I. Then how can we take Guru Jee to a place which serves Sharaab and Kabaab? If this seems like idol worship to you, then so be it.

Because a Sikh who practices Sikhi does utmost Satkar of Guru Jee and cannot tolerate beadbi being done of Guru Jee. First follow your own words of practicing Sikhi instead of lecturing others.
