A Pakhandi Baba From Leicester

Recommended Posts

Dear Khaalsaa Akaal Purakh Kee Fauj,

Thank you for your insightful and thoughtful reply. I'm actually not from Leicester and tend not to use forum discussions much but am intrigued with intellectual debate and thought provoking discussions. From the philosophical readings of Sikhism Baba Fareed Ji beautifully put together poetic writing which contributes to our Sikhi was of life. There is no emphasis from my understanding and experience of Islam in any shape or form and in actual fact is the humble messages which have contributed to the beautiful writing of our Sikh way of living.

There is a clear stereotype of individuals who have to be seen to look in a particular way in order to be judged as religious. Whilst the Kesh is important, this does not mean that someone without the 5'ks is less better, in my humble opinion and reading it seems that treating people next to you with love and seeing the world with a pure heart I personally think is very pure and it is what Sikhi teaches us.

When I was much younger and naïve I really assumed that a persons appearance was related to their functioning and conduct as a good human. Through reading and life experience it is clear that a pure heart (in a very nasty world we live in - Kaluag) is so important and I have had the privilege in meeting many people of many walks of life that hold this mentality.

As for Sikhi, it is the most beautiful thing for me as this has enabled me to live a meaningful life and learn about my beautiful religion which I am so proud to be a small part off. If I can encourage just one young person to lead their life via the Sikhi way in terms of praying or even just nam jap simran, I feel that I have done something in this life.

I have never referred to this person as baba, again this is the label that the up loader has assigned. This person does not appear or suggest in any way that he is special, he is so humble that it is endearing. When I asked this person what shall I do to thank wahiguru ji, he said it was simple ...... never give up nam simran, treat anyone with respect, forgive your enemies and feed and care for those who have empty stomachs even if it means you eat slightly less.

I am afraid that evil does exist but it is usually (as history shows) pointed in the wrong direction when material is not critically appraised well - which by no means am I imply is taken from your post - in actual fact it is very interesting how we group a mona person/people as not as good as someone or a group of brothers and sisters with khesh. I personally think, long live our Sikh brothers and sisters - Sikha dah man hai ucha....., irrespective of how they look. Following Sikhi for me is from within, the heart, mind and soul and our charitable actions to others, appearance per se does not necessarily come first to label someone good or bad.

Forgive me if I have said anything wrong but my intention was solely to raise awareness of peoples intentions of uploading. We are an educated generation so lets be intellectually wise and try to understand where others are coming from rather than being swayed by propaganda just for some awful people (like Sikh Solider) who are hiding behind their wrong doings and trying to rattle Sikh youngsters. He should start by identifying those individuals who take money form people and there are plenty of examples on the net ...., therefore which again questions his intentions.

With best wishes,

Harkirat

Thankuji for doing that harkiratkaurkhalsa, yes a sant/mahapursh/brahmgiani can be from any religion, faith or walk of life. Its not exclusive to just one faith, all are god's people. But its just the way he portrayed himself that makes one judge or come to the conclusion something does not feel right.

it is absolutely correct that anybody can be a sant, etc. And also in the video i noticed u put up also is mention Lakha da data, and Baba Balak Nath, they were also saints and are considered by people as holy, so putting them down too is not right, its actually hypocritical if u say how people group monas as not good people. Therefore we should not say nothing against any belief anybody has and instead look at ownselves.

"Comfy couch" babeh crack me up. They always stay in the most luxurious houses with the latest luxury cars parked in the drive-way. You never see these babeh holding court in a semi-detached house in a rough part of town with a Ford Escort in the driveway. Maybe they know something we dont? :biggrin2:

That's a bit silly. I'm not in way endorsing this baba but when will the kaum start paying more respect to our preachers? It's sad that the giani on a wedding is fobbed with a £10 note and nobody thinks twice in paying lafander singers thousands! This is why Sikh parcharaks are behind lafandar parcharaks.

You have underestimated the significance of rehat. Without rehat one can'not even qualify as a Sikh. Guru Gobind Singh Ji made it explicitly clear rehat is required from the very outset. Of course morality, spirituaity and meditation are essential but not having rehat actually exlused you from being a Sikh.

'Rehat bina na sikh kahave' - Guru Gobind Singh Ji in Dasam Granth. Without rehat one cannot call themselves Sikh. It's a strict exclusion criteria. It's no suprise the spirituality/morality argument is mostly used by non-rehat abiding 'Sikhs'

Whilst the Kesh is important, this does not mean that someone without the 5'ks is less better,

don't understand why people believe in this kind of crap. There are plenty of fake babeh in the UK. More fool the people who follow them. I watched the video about this baba and its just the same old crap any fake baba does. Go to London there are plenty in southall. I came across a business card of this baba though in Leicester which shows his name plus the word baba so he is even advertising himself as a baba so I don't know how anyone can say that's a title which was labelled to him. Either way Guru Manya Granth is what we have been told so we should keep it that way.

It is interesting to read about these fake sages and their demonstrations of power. Stupid are those who follow them.

Having read about posts about black magic practitioners and fake baba followers from Leicester. Reading all the garbage is it amazing to note that these people not know bhagat Kabir's teachings - "KABIRA TERI JHOPRI GAL KATIAN KE PAAS JO KARAN GE SO BHARAN GE TU KAYON BHAYE UDAS"

Basically:- "He who does will pay why do we worry!"

So if these people have been dabbling with Black magic and causing tension to other families - then they should know they too will pay for their deeds.

If History is any proof one Leicester woman tried employ some black magic around 1970 the story is that she had her friend delivered some magical potion within a Karela which was fed to the victim. The victim and their family apparently suffered many evil events. However with the aid of some Bhram Giani they held an Akhand Paath after which the sprits were removed.

The ways and means the woman who did the black magic and the one who transmitted the potion suffered has many witnesses in Leicester and their many relatives from around the UK and India.

Reality is payment for all deeds is made while in this life, the whole concept of 84 lakh life forms need be understood and followed by all.

Everyone should have faith in the equilibrium of Waheguru's kingdom - there is like Kabir stated a fair balance of spiritual justice and balance. Therefore the evil minded will one day get their dues when their evil returns to their own side.

I wasn't referring to preachers or granthis. I was referring to the babeh who set themselves up as mahapurash who supposedly heal people and help them onto the right path, but the only thing they heal are their own egos and bank accounts, and in the most plushest of surroundings. Don't know where you got it I was referring to parchaaraks.

There probably is some very few brahmgianis, mahapursh that probably could do something for somebody, but even then its god that does it, but never would they say they have god inside them, or do sound effects i dont think. The thing is there are so so many fakers ajkal, that it makes it impossible to ever come across a real that is connected to god.

ik oankar . eveyone has god inside them

The problem you will find is that these babey are very convincing to the people they go to , and they seem to prey on good decent people who are more trusting and innocent.

the cheley usually don't ever have an inkling that their "chosen baba" is a fraud because they want to believe - they want to believe in Guru Nanak - these fake babey will use the ten gurus names and also use gurbani to hook people in. If they are so great then why don't they pargat their own bani ? why use the gurus bani then make out they are part of some otherwordly universal self-made religion ?

there are also babey with occult powers or started off with spirituality but then ego took over and they started to sell their bhagti or take advantage of vulnerable people who come to them for help in return for power/money/control/fame

people who have gone down the spiritual/meditation/yogic path even for a little while tend to have a different understanding of things and are able to explain things not so apparent to others, foolish people think this is a sign of great spirituality or enlightenment - whereas these type of occult games are a dime a dozen within yogic circles.

the whole world is suffering and selling themselves to anyone who comes along and offers a bit of hope
