Hairy Armpits And Body Odour

I am a male, and I have never cut the kesh on my body.

Recently, I have started to have problems with my Body Odour....

I sweat alot, especially form my armpits and this causes me to smell 'unpleasant' during the day. I shower daily and use deodorants and antiperspirants, but to no avail.

I have read on the internet that hairy armpits decrease ventilation and harbor the growth of bacteria in the region, as such, most people suggest shaving the armpits to reduce B.O.

However, I also know that armpit hair acts as a heat sink, dispersing heat and sweat away from the skin so as to minimise growth of bacteria ON the skin (doesnt stop bacteria growth on hair).

I have no desire to remove any of my kesh, but I wish to decrease my body odour. It doesn't just affect me if people think I smell bad, its spreads a negative image of all Sikhs and Indian, as it promotes stereotypes that 'all Indians smell bad', etc.

Does anyone have any suggestions or remedies?

I've honestly never had an issue with excess sweat or any pong from that particular area, and I'm particularly observant about stuff like that. Maybe you need a better soap or to have an ishnaan twice a day as opposed to just once?

Better soap and body wash if need be lol.

I think you're using armpit hair as an excuse or you're a nonSikh making a joke. If you don't wash properly, it doesn't matter if you shave it all off and look like a lil girl, you still will smell bad. It's about keeping your hygiene up.

Hey bro I can understand you know when you have hair it blocks your sweat or sweat gets collected as compare to clean shave skin

But for this u could certainly use perfumes and while bathing clean your body properly.

Carry one perfume everytime when you go to office or somewhere. You can easily find time to go out to washroom there u can spray perfume on your body.

There are lot many portable perfume bottles coming in market have those you can easily carry it in pocket

You can get special deodorants that help those who sweat excessively you just need to try different ones if you feel mainstream deodorants aren't doing the job.

Also shower twice daily and wash that area thoroughly with a good soap or shower gel and wear loose clothing.

I recommend using dove soap and getting a shower sponge thing and using it with the dove soap.
