isingh1699 thanks for your kind words, it is important to spread the word on this issues as much as possible. Its the biggest holocaust to have faced the Sikh nation in the past 200 years and we must get justice. Many are happy to talk about the atrocities of Mughals and Afghans but won't mention what has happened recently and even happening now. We all know that Indian Political parties and Govt machinery were involved together with their proxies in the Sikh community either directly or indirectly. Hence the hesitation we see now to come out and support the conviction of the murderers from Sikh organisations and religious figures. However the Shaheeds will be victorious.

Absolutely Veerji it's up to each and every one of us on this site to keep campaigning for justice in the best ways we can individually and collectively. Sadly the delay has been so long that when the truth of the Congress Genocide of Sikhs is recognised throughout the World it might be too late for many families of the Sikh Genocide victims. But the fact that the NDP are taking Surjit Singh's safety seriously in Ottawa shows that political participation and pressure by Diaspora Sikhs is crucial.

I disagree with you that 1984-1995 was the worst Genocide of the last 200 years, as the Pakistani Genocide of Sikhs killed off fully 25% of Sikhs. In other words Indira Gandhi would have had to killed 3.75million of the 15million Sikhs in India in 1984 in order for it be as bad. So the Pakistani Genocide of Sikhs in 1947 was around 15-30 times worse in terms of the suffering and damage inflicted upon the Sikh Panth. Even in absolute numbers the Pakistani Genocide of Sikhs resulted in a far greater death of Sikhs from a Sikh Panth population base that was around three times smaller in 1947. 31years after 1947 we forgot all about that Genocide and the focus shifted to the Nirankari murders of our 13 innocent Gursikhs. So the fact that this time 29years later we still haven't forgotten Indira Gandhi + her son's Genocide of the Sikhs is a positive. It should also be remembered that the first two Islamic Genocides of Sikhs resulted in over half the Panth's population being killed, thus the Mughals and Afghans killed the equivalent of 15million plus Sikhs who are walking around today (in those times).

Justice has to be delivered to the Sikh victims of the GOI Genocide of Sikhs as they can never stop you and all the other committed Sikhs like you whose blood boils thinking at how the innocents of our Panth suffered at these terrorist enemies hands. But alongside the campaigning for justice for those victims of terrorist Indira Gandhi, we can't take our eye off the ball of mainly self-inflicted (but GOI-applauded) genocides taking place today of Sikh girl babies at abortion clinics, of Sikh youth via drugs, of Sikhs via poverty, hunger and cancer due to illiteracy and inadequate health provision for all Sikhs (including shaheed parivaars). So I think the best way to publicise the terrorist actions of GOI (and the GOI's innocent victims who were killed simply for being Sikh) is by linking it to seva that is being done right now today to stop Sikhs being killed off via other methiods in 2013. The more we fund our own charities like Khalsa Aid, United Sikhs, Pingalwara the more we can achieve for the long term and keep the knowledge of the Genocide against our Qaum as a motivation to turn all of India into a Khalsa Raj in the future where the Khalsa Panth can guarantee no genocides of innocents ever take place again.

At the 5 minute mark in that video it states:

"This project will involve Gurmat Gian College Ludhiana......"

Gurmat Gian Missionary College Ludhiana is a very sketchy organization made up of people who are wolves in sheep's clothing.

Disappointed to see Khalsa Aid working with them.

This is what thousands of poor Sikh children are being taught

This is what the Educational Director has to say

And now DGP Muhammad Azhar Alam tops it all off by converting thousands of poor Punjabi Sikhs into Islam in Punjab itself

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/chandigarh/Sikh-body-blames-former-DGP-of-conversion/articleshow/21147543.cms

AMRITSAR : All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF), Peer Mohammad faction, has submitted a memorandum with Jathedar of Akal Takht Giani Gurbachan Singh seeking his intervention into the incident of alleged conversion of Sikhs into Islam by former DGP Mohammad Izhar Alam Khan. AISSF president Karnail Singh Peermohammad blamed on former Punjab top cop that he was allegedly converting poor Sikh children into Islam. He informed that a delegation comprising of senior Sikh scholars handed over a memorandum to Jathedar along with a 14 page petition signed by 565 Sikhs from US.

The AISSF president alleged that Alam had so far contributed Rs 99000 each for the construction of more than 480 mosques besides he had installed Imam's of these mosques of his choice.

"He had constituted 21 member committee of each mosque with majority of convert Sikhs as its members" said he. When contacted Alam said "My only comment is no comment" adding that earlier also a lot of people and organizations had leveled allegations against him . Peer Mohammad alleged that Alam as well as other senior Muslim police officer of Punjab had settled Muslim colonies in various parts of Punjab especially in Malwa where now mosques were being erected.

He further alleged that many Sikhs who were earlier named Gurmial Singh, Gurtej Singh were now known as Gurmail Khan and Gurtej Khan after conversion. The Federation has demanded intervention of Akal Takht to hold an inqury into the incident and also urge state government to conduct a probe and prevent such a malpractice.

Jathedar of Akal Takht Giani Gurbachan Singh said it was a serious issue . He said he would ask Dharam Parchar Committee of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee to conduct an inquiry into the allegations.

The examples above show how we cannot be free until we have our own independence. However hard Sikhs try in India to promote good values, the entire system is controlled from Delhi that prevent Sikhs getting anywhere. The Indian Sikh political parties, religious institutions, Sants, Babas are directly or indirectly controlled from Delhi. Individuals can try but we have seen only limited success in India. Outside India where we have more freedom and have our own media we have seen better results.
