Tytler's mother was also of Sikh background. But look what he ended up doing. General Brar, Dyal, KPS Gill were from Sikh background from both their mother and father's side, but these men are the biggest enemies of the Sikh Panth.

Dont forget badal, makkar etc.

He was widely disliked by the Sikh Panth, but on the back of the finances from the British and his wealthy Arya Samaj friends, he set up a Sodhak Committee in 1897 of his hand picked people, to consolidate 32 wildly different versions of the Bachittar Natak which had been introduced into Punjab from Bengal via Hindu Mahants to whom the British supplied drugs like opium and prostitutes between 1875 and 1900. It was Khem Bedi who personally decided that Benti Chaupai was best positioned next to Triya Charitar on the advice of Arya Samaj friends.

The above link has some info about he credentials of the sodhak committee. And the Bani is called Charitro Pakhyan, not triya chartar. Do you have any evidence that the Arya Samaj is behind the positioning of Benti Chaupi in Charitro Pakhyan?

Veerji, all great scholars, warriors, Shaheeds of past(including of the Khalistani movement) have believed in the Sri Dasam Granth. You know the only people who don't believe in this granth? the missionaries and kala afghanists. The two groups who have never contributed anything to Panthic struggles or given even one Shaheedi for the Panth. These are the people who have spread misinformation about Dasam Granth. I appeal to you to read the Patshahi10.org site. It disproves everything these 10th grade pass "professors" have said against the Sri Dasam Granth.

Jonny Veerji i think the Sodhak committee link u posted clearly exposes Khem Bedi's pro-Hindu and anti-Sikh agenda. I was under the impression that CharitroPakhyan was comprised of Sri Benti Chaupai (as one spiritually distinct part) along with Triya Charitar (as the other larger component on women's character via adult-nature stories).

Given Khem Bedi's blatantly anti-Sikh credentials and his de facto position as editor-in-chief of the Sodhak Committee (that he assembled) is there any doubt that he deliberately positioned Sri Benti Chaupai Sahib along with Triya Charitar? Is it not patently obvious what Khem Bedi and an alliance of Panthic dushts (Arya Samaj + British Empire) stood to gain by Khem Bedi deliberately juxtaposing the two on their behalf?

Especially bearing in mind the following and very damning evidence:

Khem Bedi that was Amitabh's ancestor was notoriously very anti-Sikh.

Khem Bedi hated Giani Ditt Singh + the (Lahore) Singh Sabha with a passion as they were revitalising the Sikh Panth.

Khem Bedi had his own competing Sanatan Sabha which claimed Sikhs were Hindu's. Khem Bedi was paid large sums by the British to undermine the Gurdwara Sudhar Lehar and the true Singh Sabha movement. The Arya Samaj and British paid him handsomely to strenghten anti-Gurmat practices in the Gurdwaras led by the Hindu Mahants. Wherever he went he used to openly preach that Sikhs were Hindus. He used verses from Bachittar Natak to force ordinary Sikhs (that only believed in accepting Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj) to think that the Gurus were descendents of Hindu King Ram Chandra's children as Bedi's + Sodhi's. He claimed that the Aad Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is the fifth veda of the Hindus + that Sikhs should revere the Vedas of the Hindu's as, according to him, our Guru Sahiban did so in their previous lives, as claimed in the same text.

Khem Bedi's two sons Kartar and Gurbaksh also merit mention as they were staunch opponents of Bhai Kartar Singh Jhabbar, Jathedar Tehal Singh and Bhai Lachman Singh who sought to liberate Sri Nankana Sahib from Hindu Mahants who were introducing prostitutes and other anti-Gurmat practices into our Gurdwara's just like how the Muslim Massa Ranghar had done in earlier times. Kartar Bedi was a staunch supporter of the Hindu Mahant Narain Das who murdered 130 Sikhs at Sri Nankana Sahib in 1921.

Veerji, Charitro Pakhyan and the other Banis in the current Sri Dasam Granth have been in there since it was composed into a single Granth. There are stories about Banis in Sri Dasam Granth proving it existed before Khem Singh Bedi was even born. A Sakhi of Baghel Singh who conquered Delhi is known to have studied Chatro Pakhyan and as a result was strong enough to never fall in a love trap of the opposite sex. British travelers who would travel in the territories ruled by Sikhs would mention how Sikhs revered the Granth of the tenth Guru along with Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee. During puraatan times, when Sikh chiefs would gather at the Akal Takht, all would sit in front of the two Granths while the Gurmata was mediated by the Nihangs of olden times. This Granth has been a part of our Khalsa tradition. So many of our traditions would be incomplete if not for this Granth.

This Granth has always been revered by Sikh Saints, Shaheeds and leaders since the oldest of times. Now some dodgy people like Gurbaksh Singh Kala Afghana, Darshan Lal, Dhunda have come to question this Granth. I would much rather follow the opinion of our revered Saints, Shaheeds of the past than these unscrupulous revisionists who are probably doing this under the order of their RAW masters.

Why are you so fixated on Khem Singh Bedi? why not look at the thousands of Shaheeds who also believed in this Granth? while those who questioned this Granth from amongst Kala Afghanist and missionaries have never sacrificed anything for the Panth nor given even one Shaheedi. Khem Singh Bedi is not any more dodgy than Gurbaksh Kala Afghana or Darshan Lal who question Dasam Granth.

Was he not helped by indira to get a break in the film industry and were not his mother and indira friends, its seems he was repaying the favour by going all out when she was assassinated. He's nanna and his two mammas were british / hindu spoons, who were only concerned about their own interests, i mean their only sister/daughter and his mother married a bheyah, shows how much sikh values were instilled into her/them.

There are no Sikh values because there is no Sikh in him. Every single hindu bedi (and most bedis are hindu Punjabi) claim to be the direct descendant of Guru Nanak. Every single one you will ever meet in your whole life makes the same claim. Its not just that indra and his old girl were 'friends'. There is far far more to the story than that. Indra and him are practicaly siblings. His dad was one of india's most well known homosexuals....the sort of Quentin Crisp of Oscar Wilde of India if you like. A poet....and very very openly camp and gay. His dad had no relations with his mum. The only man his mum had relations with was Indra Gandhi's old man: pandit Nehru. Amitabh Bachan and Indra Gandhi were blood. Trust me....the man wanted revenge....wanted blood when she died. He is 100% guilty of calling for and getting the massacre of Sikhs in 1984. The man has the blood of thousands of innocent sikh men, women and children on his hands.

Plenty about khemu ram above. This all reminds me of an article that came out around the time that bollywood was mooting films glorifying indira gundhi and butcher gill variously, with amitabh butcher being lined up to play the role of the 'heroic' mass murderer:

Sikhs warned of Amitabh Bachans dark side

The Indian Bollywood star has shown his true colors, his Sikh fans should be aware of his involvement during the anti-Sikh riots in November 1984 when 20,000 (according to the BBC) were murdered

________________________________________________

Charges against Amitabh Bachchan Bollywood Star are

* During 84' Sikh Genocide, Amitabh Bachchan was shown on television inciting people to kill Sikhs after the assassination of the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi

* He said, Sikhs had not only assassinated Indira Gandhi, they had killed the mother of the nation.

* He raised the slogan Khoon ke chheente Indira ko marne walon ke gharon tak pahunchne chahiye (The bloodstains must reach the houses of those who killed Indira)

________________________________________________

The known family lineage of the infamous Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachan is as below

Sir Khem Singh Bedi (1832-1904), had 2 sons Kartar Singh Bedi and Gurbaksh Singh Bedi

Gurbaksh Singh's grandaughter was Teji Bedi and her son is Amitabh Bachan.

Before all the Sikhs get too excited, there is a very dark side to this family.

Sir Khem Singh Bedi claimed to a decendant of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and was bribed by them to undermine the Gurdwara Sudar Lehar and Singh Sabbha Movement.

The Arya Samaj also used him to strengthen the Bipren Ki Reet in the Gurdwaras and thus to Hinduise Sikhi. He used to openly preach that Sikhs were Hindus. He claimed that the Aad Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is the fifth veda of the Hindus which provides the essence of Purans and Upanishads. In fact the RSS and Sanatani influences in the various Dehras owe their origins to KHEMU RAM as Sikhs used to call him with disdain.

He was immensely disliked by the Khalsa Panth, but on the back of the finances from the Arya Samaj, he set up a Sodak Committee in 1897 of his hand picked people, to consolidate 32 wildly different versions of the Bachitar Natak which had been introduced into Panjab from Bengal via the Nirmalas between 1875 and 1900. He was largely unsuccessful in this Endeavour but was successful in introducing very many Hindu texts and traditions into various dehras. He died a very distraught man from painful llness. His palace built from ill gotten gains now lies in ruins near Rawalpindi in Pakistan. A fitting legacy to the evil that he represented.

His son Kartar Singh Bedi was a staunch supporter of the Mahant Narain Das who murdered 130 Sikhs at Nankana Sahib in 1921. His other son Gurbaksh Singh Bedi was notoriously anti panthic maryada and used to go on Hindu stages to declare that Sikhs are Hindus. His wish came true when his grandaughter married a Hindu Bhaia from UP and converted to Hinduism. She brought up her son Amitabh Bachan to be a Sikh hating Hindu fanatic. She herself died from a long painful illness at the age of 93 yrs.

Sir Khem Singh Bedi's great grandson Amitabh Bachan stood alongside Rajiv Gandhi in June 1984 to applaud the destruction of Sri Akaal Takat Sahib to flush out 'terrorists', and later in Oct 1984 to 'teach the bastards a lesson'. To date he has never condemned the genocide of the Sikhs on the streets of Delhi and other Indian towns.
