WaheGuru Ji Khalsa

WaheGuru Ji Ki Fateh

With SAS and Bhai Mohan Singh Ji the Khalsa Lives On!!!

To all you Sikhs who attended the demo back in London Trafalgar Square July 2004 against Al-Muhajiroun is time to reconvene on the streets of Leicester?

Cisco_Singh & Legal Singh if SAS and Bhai Mohan Singh Ji did not judge who do you think you are to pass judgement?

PS Once again the silence of Keith Vaz is deafening!

"Cisco_Singh & Legal Singh if SAS and Bhai Mohan Singh Ji did not judge who do you think you are to pass judgement?"

It's called freedom of speech, right of opinion, and the right to express your views... Are you trying to say that no-one should have a viewpoint if doesnt match up with yours ?? Looks like you incapable of intellectually disecting facts, and information. Read all of the news reports, read them properly. All im saying is..it's not a one sided story.. Was there exploitation of a vunerable person in this case .. Yes undoubtedly... But is 100% of the blame on one side ??? No...

You do know for all yuor talk of Khalsa...there were rules to abide by..and you could be excommincated..i.e: removed from the Panth for breaking the rules..it's not as easy as Sikhs forgive everyone.Thats not the message that should be going out..

Her parents threatened to throw her out when she was likely 15, their relationship broke down. She had no support structure. How could she feel facing that?

And you think there's a Punjabi family out there that wouldn't threaten to throw out of the house a daughter that was stoned out her head all day, drunk every day and prostituting herself ?

She tried but couldn't get a job. It's hard enough for university graduates with actual qualifications, nevermind a child.

Its hard for EVERYONE to get a job. But everyone else doesn't see prostitution as a solution to their money problems.

She couldn't get any help from social services.

She didn't need social services. She wasn't being sexualy, physicaly or mentaly abused at home. Her parents were simply telling her to stop drinking, taking drugs and prostituting herself. All she needed to do was stop.

She was self-harming and suffered depression

If not those, what symptoms were you expecting to occur from serious drug and alcohol abuse ?

Prostituting herself and saving money so she could leave home was the ONLY option this girl thought she had. Do you HONESTLY think she sold herself for 20 freaking quid (almost nothing) at a time for FUN? With these disgusting sullahs? Would ANY female find the idea of even looking at these losers remotely FUN?

And I suppose stopping drinking and taking drugs wasn't an option at all then ? :stupidme:

Read the trial transcript bruvs. She herself says she'd been prostituting herself, drinking heavily and taking drugs since well before meeting what you call the '<banned word filter activated>'.

The girl was FREAKING 16. Do you have any idea how powerless someone is at that age? How was she meant to survive in this day and age?

Everybody in the entire world was 16 at some point. How many of them drink alcohol and take drugs ? Were you expecting good things to happen as a result of the drug and alcohol abuse ?

Second... How about you blame the stupid parents that threatened to throw their CHILD out on the street, let it get so bad and started this problem in the first place?

Lets assume you don't think they should have 'honour killed' her what exactly do you expect parents to do to a daughter that is abusing drugs and alcohol and prostituting herself and refusing to stop? Did you expect them to throw her a massive party to celebrate ?

AND THEN SURE... You can blame the girl for stupidly walking into this ridiculous mess. Desperate people do desperate things, do you honestly think she knew how far this would go?

Desperate for money ? What she had a majboori of bringing up small children and providing food for them did she ? She had a mortgage hanging over her head with the threat of repossession did she ? She urgently needed money for a life saving operation did she ?#

No. She needed money because responsible parents were telling her to stop taking driugs and alcohol and she didn't want to stop. If you think thats desperate you seriously need to reconsider your definition of desperate.

Ten men charged with offences including rape and trafficking in relation to alleged abuse of five teenagers in Coventry last year

A group of men accused of sexually exploiting teenage girls have been charged with a range of offences including rape, sexual assault and trafficking.

West Midlands police said 10 men, aged between 19 and 30, were charged on Thursday following an inquiry into the alleged abuse of girls at various locations across Coventry.

The charges relate to the alleged exploitation of five teenagers between May and September last year.

Brothers Gulfraz Banaris, 20, Ifaraz Banaris, 25,from Wood End, Coventry, and Izthkhab Banaris, 24, also from Coventry, are charged with conspiracy to traffic girls across the city for the purposes of sexual exploitation. Gulfraz and Izthkhab Banaris are also both accused of a rape.

A police spokesman said all three men appeared before magistrates in Coventry on Thursday and were remanded in custody and will appear before Coventry crown court on November 7.

Brothers Isa Iqbal, 21, Ismail Iqbal, 20, both of no fixed address and cousins of the Banaris brothers, also face trafficking counts and are due to reappear in court in November.

Five other men are due to appear in court in Coventry on Friday in connection with the inquiry.

Ricardo Hinkson, 23, from Radford, Coventry, has been charged with conspiracy to traffic within the UK for the purposes of sexual exploitation. Amir Mahmood, 27, from Foleshill, Coventry, and Tasveer Hussain, 30, also from Foleshill, are also accused of the same offence.

Where is your proof that she was like this before her parents threatened to kick her out? How do you know they are not at fault?

If it so easy to not be a prostitute, why do so many girls coming from India do it in the UK and Europe then?

I agree with Jeevan we all have to get together and coordinate , if we don't represent in local government level then we don't exist

legalsingh - best of luck with that one....

things that may seem like trivial problems to an adult can be life ending for children and teenagers - i'm just glad there's a Sikh helpline and there's not people like you at the end of the PHONE

Five of the men are due to appear at the city's crown court in November.

Five others will appear before magistrates in Coventry later. The accused are aged between 19 and 30, a police spokesman said.

They appeared before magistrates on Thursday and were remanded in custody to appear again on 7 November.

Five other men are due to appear in court in Coventry later in connection with the same inquiry.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
