You are absolutely right about those puratan singhs even the language they used is offensive, they would never say salam to a muslim. First thing first, we need to understand what is the spiritual destination of the other religions to see if they are all the same. The Christians want heaven, Muslims want Jannat (with multiple virgin hooris, river flowing of wine etc), Hindus depending on which deity they worship have their own destinations(Vaikunt, Swarg, Shivpuri etc), Buddhists want Nirvana. Most of these destinations are all in GianKhand and are temporary. The Sikh destination is Sachkhand which is the permanent abode of Vaheguru all other spiritual destinations are temporary. Other religions do not seek nor did their founders know of Sachkhand.

Secondly, Unlike the other religions, Sikhi does not condemn anyone to hell just because they are non Sikhs. An ardent practitioner of any faith will only get as high as his religion's founder has gotten. Since Buddha, Shiva, Krishna (and probably Jesus and Prophet Mohammad) are all in Gian Khand, their (spiritually) highest followers can only reach as high as Gian Khand not higher than their religion's founder. It is only the Sikhs whose spiritual goal or destination is Sachkhand.

It is simply because the big cat got smacked across the face. Ever seen a cat play with a mouse before leaving only the tail of it? The politically correct people are like the cat. I will try to repeat myself in simple words. Any non-Sikh (Hindu or Muslim or Christian) coming on this forum will have questions about Sikhi. It is our responsibility to make sure they can recognize and see it, and that is not going to happen the way things go on here.

Now I will try to explain in Punjabi. Say someone wants to ask a friend of his where the friend's father is at. He can ask in one of the following ways.

• tuhade Papa kithe gaye
• tuhade Daddy kithe gaye

Or he can ask in one of the following ways

• tera piyo kithe aa
• teri maa da khasam kithe aa

Its upto you guys what approach you want to take when explaining Gurmat to a non-Sikh. All I want to say is there is no greater deed than enjoining someone with SatGuru Jee's charan, and no sin as bad as breaking someone from Their charan. You guys choose what way you want to go. Maybe the reason I feel so strongly about all his is because I had Sangat of GurSikhs who were devout in their GurSikhi, who were strictly against manmat of other faiths, yet they shared with me compassionately and that is what drew me more towards GurSikhi. They didn't try to poison my mind with any sort of hatred. That is the sort of platform I am looking for on this forum, where we explain how Gurbani defines a true Brahmin and a true Muslim, and explain to the world that it is only through Gurmat at the feet of Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj that we can get there. Explain the futility of their rituals in the light of Gurbani, not our own self-created hate. And this will happen when we ourselves become high avastha GurSikhs. If you want to reach the lower realms, then don't bother reading scriptures. Just sit in a quiet place and contemplate on the self. Slowly, the universe will tell you how to get it done. It's not difficult and no need for organized religion.

^^^ Emphatically, the answer is YES Veerji. Of course, all good people (regardless of their faith) have God's light there to brighten their life.

There are Hindu Bhagat's writings in The Sri Guru Granth Sahib, Kabir Ji was born in a Muslim family, they're religions led them to the light of Sikhi, Waheguru created many paths to the light, you cannot sit there and just take the negatives and the criticisms of those said religions to say they are false. What some followers of the religion do ARE false, there's plenty that Sikhs do which is false, to be so simple minded as to conclude that therefore they don't lead to Akal Purakh is a straw-man argument.

^^^ Veerji there are no Hindu Bhagats in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Maharaj. All the so-called wrongly labelled Hindu Bhagats demolish each and everything that Hinduism stands for. Kabir Ji Maharaj totally demolishes Islam and exposes the falsehood within Islam repeatedly in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj. There is more than one path to merge with the light of Akal Purakh but let's NOT make the allegation that God created these man-made paths like Christianity, Islam and Hinduism in which the sati (widow burning), the caste system, slavery, terrorism, pedophilia, sexism and discrimination are all openly supported and accepted. It's wrong for us to accuse God of supporting those evil crimes. Nobody is hating on any innocent Hindu, Muslim or Christian but the philosophy when it is wrong has to be called out.

Put another way, Sikhs don't hate innocent blonde-haired blue-eyed Aryan children but never will we appease or shy away from criticising Nazi racist ideology.

Sikhi is not like Semitic faiths where non-Sikhs are doomed to eternal damnation. Fact is the soul gets what it aims for. Non-Sikhs aim for some heaven or the planet of which ever deity they worship, and they get it by being good human beings. Sachkhand is something Guru Sahib details and so to get there one has to take aasra of Shabad Guru. Today that happens by taking Amrit from Panj Pyaare and living your life based on Gurmat. No questioning that.

This is an online Sikh forum which is possibly frequented by non-Sikhs as well who are looking for inspiration, motivation and the divine lustre of Akaal Purakh in their lives. Not every Hindu coming here is an RSS agent to convince you that Sikhs are Hindus, not every Muslim coming here is there to do Dawah and convince you that Guru Sahib was a Muslim, not every Christian coming here is an evangelist out to proselytize you into believing Jesus is the only way, and by that logic, not all Sikhs on this forum are here for a good purpose either, sorry to say. People come here thinking they can actually find something good here which will change their life and move it towards a higher spiritual plane. All they get once they land here is "Hindus are losers, Muslims are animals" sort of environment. If some non-Sikh comes here to cause trouble, I don't need to tell you guys what is done to them, you know it very well, so please make sure to report such folks as well.

My only purpose is that those genuine non-Sikh seekers of Vaheguru (who have obviously reduced to near zero in the past years) coming on this site are not pushed away from the track of Sikhi even before they've embarked on it. YES, Sikhi is THE best without a speck of doubt. No other religion comes close even to the shadow of Sikhi. YES our history is full of true instances of Hindus/Muslims betraying/oppressing Sikhs. No doubt! But for God's sake, please spare those innocent souls on this forum who happen to be non-Sikhs and have nothing to do with that history, and are here only searching for the light of Vaheguru, who are on here only to find the purpose of their life in the light of Gurbani. I don't know/care what kind of non-Sikhs you people deal with on a daily basis in your real (non-Internet) lives. But when you log on to this website, keep in mind that somewhere someone searching for the light of Gurmat is reading your words. Make sure you don't distract them from the track much before them even realizing what they are looking for.

How many of you have ever tried (in real life, not online) to communicate in a polite manner with a non-Sikh about Gurmat? I don't think anyone on this forum has ever said anything bad about innocent Muslims or Hindu's.

But there is a big difference in pointing out the sheer evil present in parts of Manu Smriti, the Bible and the Quran and wrongly hating on innocents.

But agreed hatred (which goes against Gurmat) of Hindu's for 1984 especially will only prevent good brothers of a background like yourself from coming towards Sikhi

True Hindu's are welcome to pray to idols and animals and Muslims are welcome to go on Hajj if they want to but we should have the right to expose the fallacy of such beliefs or the World system will continue with oppression of the weak and poor and innocent rather than the Sarbat Da Bhala for all humanity that there should be.

^^^ Again Mehtab Singh Veer i respect so much what you have beautifully written above and why. But pointing out evil deeds such as slavery and pedophilia is not hatred. Any logical, sane person of any faith ought to condemn such disgusting behavior and see that the faith which they regard as divine clearly cannot be, when the ultimate example of mankind engaged in slavery and pedophilia. Furthermore, the proof of that lifestyle comes from the said religions own holy books.

Of course Veerji. And I think you know that I stand closer to SikhKosh Veer overall when it comes to exposing the truth about non-Sikh ideologies which harm weak and innocent victims and certainly I will never ever believe that slaveowners and pedophiles can gain entry into GianKhand. That is too sickening and frightening to imagine.

But when it comes to Hindu's in particular, I agree with Bijla Singh and yourself that maybe we need to step off the gas a bit in criticism if potential new Sikhs are lost.

You are not perfect but you are a lot better than me and a part of that is because you are from the original background you were prior to 2003 and becoming part of the Khalsa Panth. The more you explain what pulled you towards Sikhi the better for us others to understand how to explain Sikhi to non-Sikhs with humility/nimrata
